This place was absolutely wonderful! Lisa was an amazing host, she responded to messages quickly and even checked in on us! This place was very clean, and provided everything you would need and more! We will definitely be staying here again!!

Our family of 4 adults completely enjoyed this home. Check in was easy. The location is convenient to Publix, Food Lion, beach shops and everything in between. The home was exceptionally clean, quiet, and relaxing with all the essentials included. Beds were comfortable and linens and towels were of nice quality. LR was spacious, stylish and inviting. The kitchen was well appointed. We did not go out to the beach, but the garage space contained everything we would have needed and more for a beach day. Terri arranged a golf cart for us. It was there and waiting for us upon arrival. It was in excellent condition. Terri gave us several recommendations on places to eat. From breakfast, lunch, and dinner to even the best places for ice cream. Terri checked in with us daily to make sure we were satisfied. We had a lovely dinner at Island Way. Was an upscale, casual restaurant. Our meal was heavenly. Lots of crab, scallops and shrimp in one dish. We will be back. Terri was the best host!!

It was our second stay here and we feel right at home there. We love the spacious back porch and large fenced yard for our dogs. It is very walkable to the beach but we were able to get parking by the beach access. The house is well stocked with everything you need and even lots of Tupperware! The owners have been renovating and adding to the appeal since the last time we came five months ago. We can’t wait to come back again.

Peaceful Beach Getaway in Carolina Beach I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb in Carolina Beach. The location was absolutely perfect—just a short walk from the beach, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and private. It was the ideal spot to unwind and disconnect. Everything was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere—it made for a relaxing escape from the busyness of daily life. If you’re looking for a calm, coastal retreat with a great location, I highly recommend this place. I’d definitely love to come back again!

I have stayed twice at this little house on a very quiet street. It's the quietest night's sleep you can find. Kathie responded almost immediately to my messages through airbnb with quick answers to my questions. That was very important to us visiting from out of town. Thank you, Kathie. This little house is a perfect over nighter for 2 couples or two individuals needing 2 separate rooms. 1 small bathroom was enough. The house had a washer and dryer and the cutest little kitchen with all you would need to cook. We will stay here again, I bet.

Donovan’s Reef was the perfect house for our yearly mother daughter trip. We enjoyed how close to the beach we were and the beach access points, loved the outside shower to rinse off before going inside, kitchen had everything we needed, and the beds were super comfy! Check in and out was easy and Holly was super prompt with responding!

Our stay here was awesome! The place was exactly as described and the instant access to the beach was so fun! Plenty of space for our family to relax and enjoy the ocean. Amazing place! Would definitely book again!

Pramilla’s home was very nice. We felt right at home. There was so many thoughtful amenities from shower gel, shampoo/conditioner, hand soap, fully equipped kitchen and bowls for our pups. After being out for a bit we returned to a beautiful bouquet of flowers, cheese tray and sparkling cider waiting for us on the porch. The decks amazing! Perfect location! Comfy bed and pillows.

We loved being so close to the beach, the pool, and the pier. Pier bar drinks and service were great! We recommend the Bahama Mama and The Painkiller. The condo was very clean and inviting. The deck was perfect for our morning croissants and fresh fruit with coffee. We enjoyed watching the waves and listening to seabirds as they soared above the sea. Just a short drive to the Boardwalk gave us some great shopping and restaurants. We recommend Britt’s donuts. Don’t buy just one -cash only! Matthew was the perfect host! He answered my questions quickly and checked in to see if we needed anything. Perfect week for us to rest and relax!

My boyfriend and I celebrated our anniversary at A Wave From it All, and it did not disappoint. We stayed for 4 nights, and were able to enjoy the beach and the activities with no problem. The only downside was that the pool was unfortunately closed for our time here, and we had originally chose this place based on the fact that there was also a pool, however that isn’t something Jenna could control of course as they were doing construction on it; we did not know until we arrived. However, the restaurants and the boardwalk are all very close, as well as the beach access being right across from our house. We walked the pond most nights as well which was nice. Overall, we had a great experience here and will be staying again next year.

We had an excellent stay in Jessica's condo. The place was exactly as described and our family of four fit well in there. The views were beautiful and the amenities were great! We would love to return sometime.

My husband and I loved staying here. Very easy to access, clean and cozy. Great location (close to great restaurants) and the view is beautiful! It had everything we needed for a relaxing long weekend. We would definitely stay again!

it was the perfect setting for our family vacation with our adult children and their significant others. In fact, it was the perfect back drop on the dock for my son to propose to his girlfriend! wonderful memories here! peaceful and beautiful setting and short drive to the beach.

Was a great place to stay! Located very close to the boardwalk, with a walkway connecting you to great food and activities. Space was as described, cozy, & clean. We stayed with 2 dogs, place was big enough for 2 extra large crates with plenty of room still left. Plenty of built in shelving to store our stuff so our space stayed tidy. Stephanie was communicative from the time we booked, throughout our departure. The chairs, table, umbrella set up on the beach was a wonderful bonus. Condo balcony was comfortable with a beautiful view! we didn't even have to leave to see the sunrise! The parking garage can feel a little tight with a larger truck, but the 2 lots across the street were perfect! The Cabana provides doggie bags for clean up, the dog walk area in the lot is all rock, we went across the street for any dog breaks. Perfect view for Thursday night fireworks done by the boardwalk. our fav activities: -arcade -food!! Sunny Daze, Ocean Grill & Tiki bar, Britts, the Fudgeboat

I loved this place! Was in a great location, quiet neighborhood and great walking paths. Everything we could have needed, this place provided! Victoria was an excellent host!!

We very much enjoyed our 30 day stay at "Come Sail Away"...it truly felt like our home away from home! It was clean and comfortable and perfect for our needs. Kim and Jeff were wonderful hosts and we highly recommend staying at this lovely home!

We loved our beach stay at Rhonda's place! It was our first time to Holden Beach and it was awesome to stay in a clean, comfortable place. It was an easy to walk to the beach. The neighborhood was safe and friendly. Beach supplies were at the house for our use and the outside shower was super helpful. Rhonda was responsive and kind and we would definitely recommend her place! Also, she provided great coffee for our stay!!

Great place, beach house energy!! Walkable to the beach, nice dock at the end of the road. Close to great restaurants and still convenient to Holden & Southport (25-30 min drive) we went to both for dinner. Also has great amenities with the beach equipment they have for guest, helped us as we didn’t come fully prepared as we normally do! Johnny (their Pup) was a sweet touch to say hey to when he was out with his people, the hostess, whom are both very friendly!!!! :) I’d recommend this house to anyone to stay at!

Our family has gone to Oak Island every year around Memorial Day for the last 6 years and we've always been looking for a spot that we can return to every year. Nothing has been quite right. Until we stayed here. This spot has everything we love. Right on the beach with easy access. Great layout with big beautiful windows. Something fun for the boys to play (air hockey). Really comfy beds. Very clean. Walking distance to all our favorite restaurants. It was great. We will definitely be back!

A wonderful peaceful place a minute away from the beach a beautiful getaway

We love staying at vintage beach houses that are not your usual cookie-cutter type of places that are so common. I love that this house was built by family. You can feel the love, history, and general good vibes in this house. Laura was very helpful and generous with answering all my questions, which I really appreciated! We loved sitting on the back porch (feels like a treehouse!) and watching the birds in the morning and the sunset over the marsh in the evening. It’s a short and straightforward drive to the beach and a very pleasant do-able walk (just over a mile) if you want to get some extra steps in. Laura has everything you need for the beach - chairs, umbrella, boogie boards, wagon. Beds and furniture were very comfy and we felt right at home at Laura’s place! Thank you, Laura, Brian, and Melissa for a wonderful stay!

Joe's place was everything we needed. Being so close to the beach made it easy to walk there multiple times a day. His house was clean and had everything we needed. We brought our two dogs and the fenced in back yard made it easy to let them out and have a place to go. I really appreciated the water hose, which we used everyday to wash off our dogs after the beach, as well as the outdoor shower for us. I would definitely recommend Joes place for anyone looking for a cute place to stay within walking distance to the beach.

My husband and I loved the closeness of the ocean and we were able to walk everyday to the Beach. The house worked out perfectly for us and we would stay there again. Our trip was a great success and we were able to relax and enjoy the beach. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness.
