Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Ironwood

Chanel and Dylan reached out to me early in the day with their numbers and all the information that i needed. It was just two of us, so the two bedrooms were perfect. We were out riding all day, but it was nice to come back to relax and watch TV. It's a very peaceful neighborhood. We used the garage one night to park our machines in and got them out of the rain. House is very close to the trail, but not the busy part of 77, which was nice. There also was a gas station less than 5 minutes away. Would definitely stay here again. Thank you, again.

We came up with our side by side and it was perfect location. The home was clean and comfortable and everything we needed. Next time we come up we will stay here again.

This cozy cottage is such a nice stay! It is in a great neighborhood, and the neighbors are so kind and friendly and helped us shovel the driveway when we had snow during our trip. The house was so clean and cozy and had everything we needed- coffee, games, books, a snow shovel, Tupperware, plastic wrap, and even candy bowls. We felt right at home and will definitely be back!

Awesome home in the perfect location for our trip. Steve’s spot was clean, homey, private, and perfectly tucked away while being central to all of our activities. We enjoyed the easy access from the house to the ORV trails. Was a nice water view drive to scenic locations including waterfalls and the town it is featured in we enjoyed the local cafes and even found a very unique store where we were able to snag some locally made items. Would stay here again if vacation in the location again.

We have stayed at Momma’s Haven 3 times now! Tara is an extremely kind and generous host. Her place is comfortable, in walking distance to downtown and the trail, and is clean. Thank you Tara for accommodating our family once again.

Kelly’s comfy stay was perfect for our weekend trip to the Porkies. It was our first time visiting, and it was very convenient having a place to stay just 20 minutes from the park. The house was spacious with plenty of bedrooms and a relaxing living room. A tip for new travelers to the area, the few available restaurants close at 8pm. Our first night we lost track of time hiking until sunset (9pm) and found ourselves out of luck for food. Thankfully the kitchen was also very functional, allowing us to make a meal with some non-perishables we brought. One negative about our stay was that the dryer stopped producing heat. However, Kelly was quick with her communication and sent her husband to take a look the same day. Although the problem was never ultimately solved during our time there, it did not affect our trip in any way. I highly recommend this great stay. The Porkies will not disappoint!

My stay was absolutely wonderful! Karen was incredibly kind and proactive, providing clear and helpful instructions well in advance, which made check-in and navigating the space a breeze. The apartment itself was spotless and well-maintained, offering a comfortable and relaxing environment. Best of all, the location was perfect—within walking distance to everything I needed, from shops and restaurants to local attractions. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Great place and our family had a really good time. Great location to be able to ski in and out and the wood stove was a nice touch. The house was hard to find in the dark when we first arrived and price seemed a little steep for what it was. Overall nice place and we would recommend.

Lovely, large space with four, outdoor decks - so nice to be able to step outside from any space in the treehouse. The location is not far from town but also very quiet and peaceful. The space is lovely and very well-appointed; we especially enjoyed the kitchen. Vic was super friendly and gave us great recommendations as to what to see the next day. The island is gorgeous and there is wildlife viewing if lucky! Highly recommended.

This was our 3rd stay here while working in town. Everything was great as usual and Kara was great with helping when we had to adjust our stay because of a work schedule change.

Pearl and Jim are great hosts, very easygoing and always helpful. The apartment is the lower unit, exactly as described. From the great window in the main room to the wonderful deck, large bathroom, comfortable bedroom with plenty of closet and drawer space, everything worked well. The garden and lawn that lead down to a small private beach are beautifully landscaped. The apartment was spotless and comfortable.

Great place to stay. Nice and cozy and clean. Great location made it easy to get to the trails.

Perfect location. Plenty of parking for our snowmobile trailer. We enjoyed being able to ride our sleds straight from the property to the trail. Convenient location to restaurants/entertainment. We had a little confusion figuring out what unit was ours but the host was helpful and responsive. My only complaint is the bed frames were more wobbly than we are used to. Otherwise our stay was wonderful. We would stay again!

Such a peaceful stay. It felt like being in a tree house. Lake views from the bedroom and forest views from the living room. Would stay here again for sure. You could hear the people in adjoining apartment shutting cabinets and talking (I’m sure they could hear us) but still 100% peaceful.

Excellent condo beautiful surroundings great weather very good trip

This was a great place to stay for our end of the season ski trip. A close 2-minute walk to the chalet. There is a lift even closer, but it wasn't running, presumably because our stay was the last weekend of the ski season. The condo was clean, tidy, and had everything we needed. Beds were comfortable and cozy. Myron was super helpful and responded to messages within minutes. Being April, it wasn't cold enough to warrant using the hot tub, but it looked great. He offered to let us check out later since the cleaning crew wasn't arriving right at 11:00. Much appreciated! So much nicer to change in his condo rather than the chalet before our drive home. Looking forward to booking this condo again for our annual Michigan ski trip next winter!

We stayed during a snowstorm that dumped a foot of snow and Wendy made it really easy to add an extra night to the stay

The apartment was actually nicer in person than we had anticipated from the pictures. The location was very convenient and within walking distance of almost everything in LaPointe. The member of our group who had lived in New Orleans especially appreciated the Cajun seasoning left in the cupboard!

This is a very nice and spacious place in a convenient building whether you are skiing at Black River (which is ski in - ski out) or Jackson Creek Summit which is only 10 minutes away and has easy parking. Calley is super responsive and easy to work with.

Great place to stay and ski!

Alexis and Luke are great hosts! They were very proactive in communicating leading up to our arrival and prior to our check out. Instructions for the lockbox, keys and garbage were very clear. We have stayed there before but for first timers, the instructions on how to get to the lodge were very clear also. They always had wood stocked at the entrance for the fireplace which was super nice. Very clean and cozy. It's ideal for skiing in and out at Black River Basin. We love staying at the Bunkhouse and will be back!
