Christine and Howard were exceptional hosts. Their generosity was more than anything one could wish for . The breakfast the welcome basket, there was so much to choose from . We felt right at home and very comfortable from the start and they were both ready to help and support in anyway. Howard is a mind of information and brilliant to chat to , he was very helpful and gave us lots more of information of where to go on our walks. Thank you Christine and Howard x

Well located, easy walking distance to shops and attractions, as well as to the ferry to Ullapool. The apartment was spotlessly clean, with an updated and modern kitchen and bathroom. It was well stocked, and even has a washing machine. We would eagerly come back again.

We had a fantastic stay at Doreen's - everything was just perfect. From beginning to end Doreen answered all our questions quickly. The place was beautiful and spotless, it had everything you would need for a long-term stay. Already planning my next trip to Stornoway and hope to stay at Doreen's again.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and absolutely felt like home. We have stayed for 3 nights, 2 families with 3 children and had enough space and more. Very spacious, comfortable beds and crisp white linen! Accommodation is 3 minutes away from ferry terminal ( maybe less), easy to park just next street, close to everything! Host is very helpful and responsive! We would definitely recommend this place! Harris and Lewis is a magical place! Loved it and will come back!

Great location for a night before getting our ferry to Harris. The caravan is spacious and was really well equipped for our stay. The beds were comfortable and the extra covers for the bed kept us warm. The twin beds are small (especially for a 6’2 adult) - but not a problem for 1 night. Great that dogs are allowed too! It was easy to park alongside the caravan. The caravan is a bit tired in places - but to be expected in that location with the sea spray.

This was our second trip to The Barn on Skye. We dreamt about coming back as soon as we left last year. We actually planned our entire stay around the cottage availability. The views and location are spectacular- out of a dream. And you’re located right along Brothers Point trail so it’s amazingly convenient. The cottage is well equipped and very comfortable. We stayed with our two children ages 2 and 8 and they loved it as well. We look forward to hopefully staying again next year and making it a tradition for our annual trips to Scotland!! Thank you again for a spectacular stay and memories!!

Had a great stay at this lovely apartment. Really well-situated near to ferry, supermarket, restaurants etc. The apartment had everything we needed and was so nicely decorated. Doreen was very helpful and quick to respond - thanks for making our stay so wonderful 👍😁

Our host Christina was fantastic. She helped us check in with our luggage and was really friendly and knowledgeable. Loved staying in the castle. We are definitely coming back next year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our apartment at Lews Castle. It’s spacious and well appointed, very very nice and high end. The grounds are beautiful and the location is VERY close to the town of Stornoway! Thank you!!!!!

Lovely stay in a nice and spacious apartment close to everything one could want to see or do in town - the castle is but a short walk away and having a shop right opposite the place was just incredibly convenient. We particularly loved just how comfortable and cozy the living room was with all of its nooks for sitting and reading etc., it was just lovely staying here.

Even though the photos in the listing didn't match the place where we stayed, the apartment was beautiful, spacious, and fully-equipped. Sleeping inside a real castle was truly a unique experience. The city of Stornoway was easily accessible on foot, and the host was always responsive and available.

A very nice and well equipped unit in the northeast part of the Isle of Skye. The unit is in the small town of Waternish right on the water. The two story unit allows for privacy in the upstairs and plenty of room downstairs. In addition to the unit there is a very pretty private garden across the driveway that goes right when to the water. A very peaceful village with two restaurants within steps of the unit. Hosting company was a good communicator and responsive. would recommend for anyone visiting Skye.

Staying in a real castle, albeit built 180 years ago, is always a unique experience but when the interior is super modern with contemporary comfort and all conveniences, what's not to love. Lots of space, great views of the harbour, and a quiet park location. The final bit to our particular apartment was via a spiral stair case, but the staff were there when we arrived to help with luggage.

The Flat was all you could've asked for and more. Great central location. Communication with Doreen was easy and she was always responsive. The Flat was better than expected. There has been some changes from the pics online. The pictures don't do it justice. I'll look to book again in the future. Thanks again Doreen. You're a star 🌟

This is a fabulous place, and once we found it, we enjoyed every minute. The staff is helpful and made us feel welcome. The rooms are large, and staying in a castle is pretty special. My only complaint is that the description of where the unit is located is very misleading. We were told the apartment is "ON the Lews Castle grounds", which are over 600 acres. For travelers like us, completely unfamiliar with the castle, that's very confusing, and an accurate description would be more helpful and enticing. The unit is IN Lews Castle. And it's great!

A unique place. We felt very serene here on the little island. Super relaxing views from the hot tub and there's kayaks to use (for a fee) that give you great access to the beautiful sheltered bay. Comfy bed too.

Lovely spot in the countryside just outside of Uig. Spectacular views from every window. Fiona was an awesome host, very helpful, she had set up a small info spot of the Isle of Skye and things to do. Instructions on how to get there were perfect. Fairy Nook was aptly name and we had a great stay

The apartment was great! It was clean, very comfortable and well laid out, walking proximity to downtown was incredible, and communication with Etta was quick and informative. She was very accommodating and hospitable. We would stay again and recommend to friends!

Beautiful, comfortable room in a castle! Lovely luxurious break from camping. Staff were excellent and very friendly and helpful. Great for exploring Stornaway for a night. Wished we stayed longer!

Sandra’s place is wonderful the perfect base location for a great week of exploring. The flat is wonderful a clean and cosy flat with a spectacular view from the balcony. What a wonderful stay we had definitely will return.
