Tern House, Isle of Skye, Luxury Self Catering

AllisonRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Absolutely beautiful home, stunning location. The sunsets here beat any of the most famous around the world. The property was described perfectly and the location, while remote, was good for seeing many sights on Skye. The hosts have done a great job describing anything you’ll need and the home is very well appointed. My only recommendation has nothing to do with how lovely the home is. The host recommends booking well in advance for meals out. This is not just a suggestion! Lol. We did a lot of cooking in this beautiful kitchen due to our lack of pre booked restaurant reservations. This was not an issue for us at all. I would definitely stay here again!!

Scottish Highland Family House with Sea View

AndrewRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The house is perfectly secluded with a view and short drive of Applecross and some great drives. Inside was thoughtfully set up based on our requirements, communication couldn't have been clearer and proactive local suggestions abundant. What made this fantastic were the hosts who checked in before and druring and whose interactions made it feel like we were renting from people who really cared rather than a private company. This is what Airbnb is supposed to be and often isn't. Couldn't recommend it more

Hazel Skye Cottage, Aird Bernisdale, Isle of Skye

AnastasiaRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Hazel’s home is in an idyllic location. We had everything we needed, and Hazel was very responsive. This has much more of the feel of a traditional, personal home being shared than any other AirBnb we’ve been in. There is personality and character all throughout.

Your Escape in Scottish Paradise

HarrietRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Clean, spacious, warm and quiet home on a quiet residential road. The property overlooks a loch joining the sea and is great for calm and quiet. Mac was very responsive and we had no problems. We loved the space and it was a well equipped kitchen which is not always a given. WiFi was great if you need it and the heating etc was all straightforward and effective. Lovely having two bathrooms too. Near various historic sites. And also pretty beaches (20-30 mins drive), and a lovely play park if you have kids near Eoropie Beach.

Taigh Chaluman, Croft House Breasclete/Callanish

AdamRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Great little spot, having a photo of the place was key to finding it as Google didn’t have the right location on the street 🤣🤣. Warm, peaceful place. We were not used to the short nights though only dark from 11pm till 4:30am 🤣🤣. Was perfect for the four adults & 2 kids and perfectly located to explore every corner of Lewis & Harris. Iain & Fiona had the cutest little basket of Scottish goodies for us to try. Thank you we had a fantastic stay.

If you are looking for somewhere to experience the beauty and remoteness of the West Coast of Scotland, this is the place for you! No neighbours for at least a mile and accessed by a classic Highlands single track road with stunning views, the house is nestled without neighbours, by a small loch with some wonderful sunset views.

Toby's place was fantastic, clean very comfortable majestic part of Scotland. The only thing i would say the island could have better sign posts but is manageable after a few days. Calum’s croft is charming and quaint and we found it to be the perfect mix between modern and original. The views were incredible from every window and it was incredibly peaceful. Every detail has been considered and provided for. Calum was an exceptional host and was very proactive with his communication. We encountered some ferry issues and he was very accommodating and reassuring. The record player was a fun touch to have while we enjoyed a fire. We would have loved to know more about Calum’s grandfather and the working croft but we did really enjoy the old photos in the library. If the stars align, we would absolutely love to come back!

THE BEACH HOUSE

AllisonRating, 5 stars1 month ago
What an exceptionally beautiful location, the view is just stunning. Spent hours just watching the bay with the changing tide, birds and wildlife. The weather was exceptional so we were able to enjoy the deck and make use of the outdoor table. Malcolm was an exceptional host and spent time with us, sharing a little of the local history which was very interesting. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and the local community shop is really handy and well stocked, also has an atm, petrol station, post office and small gift shop. Thanks Malcolm for sharing your home and we would love to return again in the future.

Shore Cottage, by the sea, amazing views.

RuthRating, 5 stars5 days ago
The perfect location in Shieldaig, walkable to local facilities with easy parking and the most amazing views from every window. It was so relaxing just to sit and watch the water and wildlife. We had some cracking walks, including one from the door. Beautifully decorated and thoughtfully laid out to make the most of the location. Duncan made us welcome and I’d love to visit again sometime.
