The strong yet delicate wooden frame, natural light through the shoji, and the shadows created by Isamu Noguchi's AKARI lighting create a beautiful fusion of tradition and modernity. The interior walls are made of Tosa plaster by artisans. You can have a comfortable stay regardless of the season, surrounded by the scent of cedar and cypress. The size is 195 ㎡. There are 4 Japanese-style rooms with 8 tatami mats that can accommodate up to 10 people. This place is perfect for those who want to experience the beauty and tranquility of Japan. Iizuna Kogen, where you can enjoy the seasonal nature. Beautiful green summer, colorful autumn leaves, and winter with snow-covered scenery - you can feel a different charm every time you visit. Recommended for those who want to enjoy Ikeda-cho at a leisurely pace in early summer. As a base for sightseeing in Kamikochi and Hakuba, we welcome stays of one night or more. It is a convenient location as a base for sightseeing in Hakuba, Kamikochi, and Tateyama Kurobe.It is also a recommended time for sightseeing in the Northern Alps in early summer.Suitable for group trips, family trips, and long-term stays. You can also get here by public transportation, but it is more convenient to have a car in this area. If you are coming by train, there may not be a taxi at the station, so we recommend planning your transportation in advance. Guest house Mökki is located in Shinano-cho, a town blessed with forests, lakes and snow in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, with a wealth of natural areas such as Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri and Togakushi nearby. You can freely use the comfortable building renovated with natural materials such as cedar, cypress, and plaster, the natural garden that creates seasonal scenery, and the forest where the stream flows.In the forest that we have been maintaining, you can see birds, squirrels, and marten, and you can enjoy strolling around looking for wild vegetables and mushrooms, as well as swings and hammocks. We also paid close attention to the interior design and kitchen utensils to make sure you can enjoy "living" in the space. In an area with famous powder snow ski resorts, you can easily enjoy winter sports in the winter. Well maintained! The private sauna is equipped with a Finnish wood-burning sauna stove. You can also enjoy a self-lowering bath. Enjoy a luxurious sauna time and forest bathing in a water bath with a magnificent view of Mt. Kurohime. This house overlooks Lake Nojiri and has a superb view. There are several ski resorts (Myoko, Kurohime, Madarao) about 15-20 minutes away by car, making it a perfect base for winter sports. Enjoy the wood stove sauna and the water bath with a view. There are no private houses around, so you can listen to music and watch movies loudly. Because it is a house located deep in the mountains, we take the best measures, but in the warm season, insects come out. It snows a lot in winter. In autumn, fallen leaves dance. You will also need to adjust the wood stove fire yourself. It's not an easy house to live in, but we promise you a great view and experience. Enjoy cooking with a counter kitchen with a view, condiments and cooking utensils. (There is no equipment for BBQ)
