Fairule Cottage is a semi detached bungalow located in a lovely quiet scenic spot. The house was fully renovated during 2019 with a new bathroom, beds, bed linen & all kitchen equipment. The quiet village of Bonchester bridge located 2 miles away has a lovely village pub offering delicious home made food and a beer garden. Local towns of Jedburgh & Hawick are 15mins away. Both have supermarkets, butchers etc... Lots of activities of families locally - just ask for details on booking.

Guests will have the entire basement floor complete with bedroom with shower, separate lounge/living room and WC. Tea and coffee fresh milk facilities are provided free of charge .Couples with small baby or toddler welcome. There is a sofa bed available which will attract a £10 per stay surcharge for linen.

The town is home to the Melrose Rugby Sevens & the Borders Book Festival & boasts many restaurants, cafes & independent shops. St. Cuthbert’s Way, Melrose Abbey & the Eildon Hills are a short walk away. The open plan lounge/kitchen is well-equipped while the ensuite bedroom is cosy with a bright bathroom with bath/shower. This was the perfect sleepover for a walking weekend in Kelso. Sadly, we were only here for one night but would definitely come back for a longer stay as we felt there was so much more to Kelso than we had the time to discover. The flat is in a very central, but quiet location, making it ideal for both walking in the countryside, and for dining out.

We greatly enjoyed our stay in June's apartment. It was beautifully decorated and extremely well equipped. We enjoyed the town and in particular Jedburgh Abbey. We took the circular walk from the Alltrails App. Beautiful scenery and views.

Very well equipped cottage - bigger than it looks from photo! Little summerhouse is a nice bonus. Only downside are the steep stairs but they didn’t detract from the overall experience.

Absolute gem of a last minute get away , the house just felt like a home from home as soon as we stepped in the door , it was spotless , cosy , bed was comfy , everything you could need to cook and eat a meal , lovely touch with milk and shortbread on arrival , defo gets a *10 + from us and i will defo reccomend to friends if their heading that way .
