Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Joliet

This place was bigger than it looked and came super well stocked! Usually I'm having to get creative in the kitchen with spices and such, but they had lots to choose from! Beds were comfy, place was very clean, and the host was responsive! We would stay there again if we are ever in the area!

This is the second time we've stayed in Nancy's lovely home and we hope to return soon! The contemporary style features high ceilings and enormous windows overlooking a wooded lot and a graceful dune. The generous size of the living area and kitchen made it easy for our family to hang out together after a day in the Indiana Dunes National Park. You're only minutes from the lake, great hiking, and a restaurant we really enjoyed (Goblin and the Grocer) but the secluded, private setting makes you feel as if you're in the middle of nowhere ... perfect for city folks trying to get away from it all. Nancy is a great host, and her home features plenty of thoughtful touches to make your stay relaxing and comfortable. After a day of hiking and exploring, it was wonderful to return to this tranquil place. We can't wait to go back!

Thomas was the perfect host. Great communication and the place had a ton of very comfortable beds. It's the PERFECT place for a bridal party to do hair and makeup. LOTS of natural light and a huge island made it perfect for our girls to get ready. Plenty of seating and a great backyard and hot tub. It was great that there was so much parking, too! Thank you so much for hosting us!!

Quick visit for us. We were in town for a wedding in Frankfort, and simply needed a place that allowed dogs near the reception, and Vee's place was an excellent fit for the quick visit. Clean, private, easy to find - and if you're visiting the south burbs or even the city, this is easy a 5-star spot. Honestly, I hadn't been to Steger in quite some time, and yeah, it's still a quiet, cozy spot so that was great. I'd absolutely book Vee's place again - thanks for hosting us!

The house exceeded our expectations! Very clean, well stocked and comfortable. Megan was very easy to communicate with and responded promptly to any questions. The house was very convenient for us because we had relatives in the immediate area. We would highly recommend this house to anyone who needs to find a place to stay in this area. We would definitely without hesitation book this house again!

Stayed here the night before my wedding with my siblings who stayed the night of the wedding. We hosted our getting ready portion here for the morning of the wedding and Olinka and Daniel were gracious enough to allow us to stay in their beautiful home. My group of friends booked Erik & Cindy’s place to attend a local house concert. Tucked in a cozy neighborhood with their background touching the river… serene and peaceful ☮️ Sleeping 😴 accommodations for our group of 5 was perfect! Master bed round for a couple, room with bunkers for 2 single females and a pull out couch for our male friend. Erik and Cindy were greatly responsive and ensured we had everything we needed for an enjoyable visit! Only wish our house concert 🎶 didn’t end so late so we could have enjoyed a pit fire 🔥 by the river! Next time! Would highly recommend booking this accommodation!!!!! 🐝🌈☮️🙏

I had such a wonderful stay at this charming location. It truly exceeded my expectations! From the moment I walked in, I could see how much thought and care had gone into every detail. The rooms were beautifully and tastefully decorated, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere that instantly made me feel at home. Each space had its own unique character, and it’s clear the host put a lot of effort into making the decor both stylish and comfortable. Everything was spotless, the amenities were thoughtfully provided, and communication with the host was smooth and easy throughout. This stay was a delightful surprise, and I would absolutely return in a heartbeat. Highly recommended!

Irene and Martin were very helpful and friendly. The place was cute and clean. It was exactly what I needed, peace and relaxation. The beach was a three minute walk and it wasn’t crowded. We brought firewood and outside by the fire pit there’s nice furniture and it feels like you’re in a little woodland area with nobody around.

Jim was a fantastic host. Very responsive and timely in his communications and support for our needs during our stay in their place. Their home was comfortable and well appointed with additional amenities you don't often see in AirBnB spaces, like N'espresso appliances and supplies. We would definitely consider repeat visits! We loved our stay! It was so clean and very close to public transit! We navigated the trains to and from Cicero into Chicago NP! We will definitely be back and we would definitely recommend staying at this Airbnb!!!

Charles is a gracious host of an impressive vintage house. The house has real plaster walls, wooden floors and trim. I felt like I was back in my Grandmother's house from the turn of the century (1900's) on the East Coast! If we come back to the area, this will definitely be our first choice.

Gigis place was spacious for the 4 of us and had a home vibe! We liked the kitchen a lot

Great location with lots of nice bars and restaurants locally and easy access also to the CTA blue line to Downtown and O’Hare. Apartment was ideal and was just as described. Would recommend and if ever back in Chicago would look to stay here again.

We loved the coziness and privacy of the place, it was such a welcome hideaway after our busy days sight seeing in downtown Chicago. The blue line train stop became our bestie because it got us downtown and back relatively quickly (30-40 min) and direct. The neighborhood was nice, walkable and we got pretty gorgeous weather. The space was clean and welcoming with all the needed necessities. So comfortable and clean, and it smelled so nice when we arrived. The bathroom was clean and bright with plenty of clean linens. We saw Jordan out walking the dog a few times but they made a point to give us good space, and responded quickly when we needed the door lock battery changed after checking. Would absolutely recommend and hope we get to visit again!

This was the perfect place to get away to unplug and relax. The location is very private and peaceful. The owners have maintained the yard nicely to make for a beautiful view of the Rock River. It has the perfect table to sit around and play cards on the porch. The beds were comfortable and clean. The firepit made for wonderful nights around the fire with plenty of firewood for us to use. I am very pleased with our stay here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

Excellent place to stay. Had to check in very late, and it was no issue. Had everything I needed for a quick stop over, and was leagues better than any hotel or motel in a 50 miles radius for the price. Would definitely stay here again .

Great vacation spot for families!

We needed a place that could accommodate 9 people which this did nicely. For the larger adults who stayed in the loft, the beds could have been a bit bigger. Probably the beds were more suitable for regular adults or children. Dina may want to consider futons in the loft which could act as day couches and larger beds for sleeping. The deck and the outdoor fireplace were a bonus for morning coffee and evening conversations. The spring green on a sunlit morning was magical. The kitchen was well appointed as were the bathrooms. with 9 people the 3 bathrooms were very appreciated. A great value in a picturesque setting with county parks and a historic landmark nearby.

This was my second visit to Leslie's cabin - had another great visit. The cabin is a short drive to Oregon, and in a great location. And as before, the kitchen was well stocked and the entire cabin was very clean. While I was there the temps dipped down to about 20 - the cabin was nice a cozy the whole time. Looking forward to my next trip!

This place was amazing and it was just getting ready for the change of seasons so the outside continued to get beautiful each day we were there. We saw deer every day and staff was very responsive. You get everything in the idea of a rustic stay but with modernized touches. Highly recommend seeing it for yourself.
