Climate-smart small cabin

Between Nybro and Kalmar is our little cottage. It is newly renovated, simple standard with outdoor toilet (separate). The kitchen is well-equipped with kitchen accessories and wood-burning stove as well as refrigerator. In the garden, there is garden furniture and a barbecue grill, an outdoor shower where you can shower under the open sky. The cabin is equipped with solar cells that provide limited but sufficient electricity for for example, refrigerator and lighting. The cottage is not suitable for families with children/people with disabilities due to the sleeping loft with a steep staircase.

Öland, Sweden's sunniest island with vast fields, enchanting beaches, lots of history and picturesque villages. One of these pearls is Stora Rör, an idyllic little harbor town on the west coast of Öland. In Stora Rör you will find: • A cozy marina. • Restaurants and cafés with sea views. • Beautiful walking and cycling trails in the large forests of the adjacent nature reserve. • Tennis and paddle ball courts. Stora Rör is also, with its location in the middle of Öland, a perfect base for exploring the island.

Also to nice swimming areas and bird sanctuaries. Between the cabin and the sea, it is a walk of about 30-40 minutes and about 3 km. Perfect walk or jog. The cottage has a quiet and nice location with new outdoor furniture and sun loungers. A perfect place to explore Öland from. Here, it's so soothing and relaxing. Warm welcome and feel at home.

Smålandstorpet

Welcome to Torestorps Drängstuga - an ancient house in the heart of Småland! Here, the fairy tales, heroes, love, hard work and party live in the walls. The house is about 100 m2 on two floors and is located a stone's throw from a larger farm building in the middle of the countryside in the Småland forests. You can get to Kalmar and Öland in 30-60 minutes and to Nybro to shop in ten. There are duvets, a wood-fired fireplace, a sauna in the forest and Doris the cat is happy to stay with you if you want to have company.

There are many patios on the property and for worse weather even a glassed-in deck. Take a dip at your own small shoreline or at one of the public bathing jetties nearby. Or borrow two SUPs and paddle around the islands. Sheets and towels are not included.

Walking distance to Färjestaden with shops & restaurants. To Eriksöre village street it is 7km & to Ekerum 18km! Own patio with barbecue facilities as well as free parking space just outside the cottage.
