The kindest airbnb hosts I’ve ever encountered. Very much enjoyed my stay. They both went above and beyond to make sure you had a pleasant stay, even got freshly baked bread. The pods were super nice and cozy and everything was clean :)

Celia’s place is in the perfect location for exploring all Achill Island has to offer (which is a lot!). Her space was clean, cozy, and warm. She met us upon checking in and gave us lots of recommendations of places to check out in the area. There’s no wifi, but we had good cell service so had no problem using data for maps, researching, etc. The shower was one of the best I have had since being in Ireland, lots of nice hot water and good water pressure. Which you definitely appreciate after long days of walking and exploring. Great stay!

We had a truly wonderful stay at Elaine’s cottage, Charlie Tom’s, on Achill Island. The house is clean, cosy, and very well equipped – everything we needed was provided, from kitchen appliances to thoughtful little touches that made us feel right at home. The location is unbeatable: it’s literally on the shore, where you can hear the waves from the upstairs bedroom or while relaxing in the sunroom with a cup of tea. It’s peaceful, comfortable, and full of charm. One of the highlights was learning about the cottage’s namesake, Charlie Tom O’Malley, and his fascinating role in Achill’s shark fishing history. A quick trip to nearby Purteen Harbour brought that story to life – a lovely way to connect with the island’s heritage. To top it all off, we had the rare and unforgettable experience of spotting a basking shark in Keem Bay. We’re so grateful for the experience and would love to return. Highly recommend this special place!

A beautiful place to stay. Mick was a great host and was very helpful. Would recommend to anyone wanting to experience living in a caravan for a week. The view was beautiful also
