A peaceful place to stay. The outdoor sauna had great steam. I would gladly come again.

The apartment was nicely decorated and everything necessary was available. It was a shame that you didn't have access to Netflix. Otherwise everything was great!

This place is absolutely stunning — it felt just like home from the moment we walked in. The hosts were warm and welcoming, and the view of the river was simply beautiful. What really sets this stay apart, though, are the small extra touches the hosts thoughtfully included: delicious chocolate, quality tea, oats for breakfast, a lovely selection of shower gels, and even spare toothbrushes just in case. It’s these little details that show how much care has gone into creating a truly special experience. Highly recommend and would definitely return!

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka personally welcomed us. The house is close to the road and is well accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka arranged us cheaply for cross-country skis and snowshoes and spelt a cross-country ski trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the aurora lights 2x. Everything was super straightforward. I'd love to come back. Thank you.

A functional and cozy ensemble in a quiet location with the best price quality I've ever experienced. I can easily recommend if you want some privacy in a comfortable setting near the ocean. The owner communicated very quickly which is also a big plus.

Airbnb is the only way to go! Irma offers a great apartment where you feel at home. Everything is available and in the right place. Irma helps at any time with great tips for the area and life in Lapland. We were able to see the northern lights through her tips and Santa Claus was also on our to-do list. Our family really enjoyed the stay in the house. It looked and felt much bigger than on the photos. Very spacious and light. Our kids enjoyed playing the garden at the back of the house, which felt very private and quiet, and in the winter full of snow. House has everything one needs for a stay, enough plates, cutlery, cooking equipment in the kitchen; enough bedding and towels. It felt warm and quiet. We were very thankful that there was some food in the fridge from the host, like butter, milk and yogurt for the kids. It is two storey house: kids bedrooms are upstairs, master bedroom next to the living room. Very approachable and friendly host, who also offered to come to grit the driveway as the road was slippery due to the high temperatures and melting snow. Highly recommend this house!

Apartment was as advertized and all practical arrangements were handled well. Kemi is a small town and for that reason there are limited opportunities for eg. restaurants. The apartment was fine though.

Thank you very much for your hospitality, it was very nice after a long journey to drink hot tea with delicious treats waiting for us on the table. The boy was very happy with the toys waiting for him in the room. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the sleep was nice. We also had a lot of different cosmetics and household items at our disposal. Eija is very attentive to guests, she was always in touch and responded immediately. Special thanks for your help in a situation where the door slams and the key was left inside. Definitely recommend to everyone

I had a long stay at Seija’s place and it fit exactly what I needed the place for. Everything is a walk away and the sea view is beautiful . Everything was just right and fit the description. As a student I needed a place to stay for the duration of my internship and I felt right at home for the 7 weeks , it was quiet and peaceful I was able to rest cook and live normally. I a lovely stay!! Sei ha is a great host who is responsive

This little apartment is perfectly equipped with everything you need for a really comfortable stay. It's within comfortable walking distance from both the train and bus stations. I couldn't get the internet connection to work but I am not technically minded so that could have been me. Marco tried extremely hard to help but as he wasn't close by couldn't do so in person. I used Kemi as a base for a day trip to Rovenniemi and I would suggest this as a great way to escape the overwhelming Santa Claus tourist hype there.
