My friends and I enjoyed a great stay at Di’s place. She was an excellent host - from booking through to check out - and offers a very well equipped, spotlessly clean and spacious place to stay in a lovely part of Edinburgh. The beds are comfy, the decor is tasteful and lighting has been well thought-out. And there’s a lovely garden too. We found it a very pleasant and peaceful place to return to after exploring Edinburgh. There are great restaurants, coffee shops and shops a couple of minutes walk away - and it is a nice walk into the centre of the city and out to Arthur’s Seat. I highly recommend and would love to stay again in the future. Thank you Di!

A pleasant townhouse, large and well-equipped, which we would have liked to enjoy longer. A good base for discovering the great natural spaces while enjoying the amenities of Kingussie.

Great house and great location. Everything we wanted and needed was there. lovely situation. And we got in earlier than the 5pm which made it easier since we were coming from different directions. if I was to make any criticism it would be that getting us all out by 10am was a bit tight, given we had the beds to strip.

Can’t recommend one fairways enough! House was immaculate and very well presented, the location was perfect for our golfing trip at gullane with the 1st tee being a couple of minutes walk away! Plenty of choice for places to eat in gullane itself make this the perfect base for a holiday or a east coast golfing trip Finally have to say Clare was a great host who was very responsive to messages and proactive in reaching out ahead of our booking and during our stay to check in if we needed anything and were enjoying ourselves House comfortably slept our 8 man golfing group and we will definitely be back! Thanks again for a brilliant stay

Craig and Holly were extremely responsive and went above and beyond. They even ordered us a second booster seat highchair for our two babies. They had a healthy supply of toys for the children, and the house was very baby proof. The flat is beautiful, close to everything (pubs and restuarants), and just overall so peacefully to be in. It hosted 7 adults and two children very comfortably. Each room was very soundproof so it made it feel like each couple in each room could truly retreat into their own space. Overall, just a great a great experience overall with the hosts, the space and location.

The cottage suited us perfectly. Had all the amenities we needed, was clean and well provisioned. Would recommend.

Perfect for a quick overnight visit to Edinburgh. Steps away from the Royal Mile with big comfortable bedrooms and lots of amenities. M was a responsive and charming host who was very responsive and left clear directions. I’d recommend this place to anyone.

A great old house with modern amenities in a secluded location. Louise was very helpful in providing local recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This lovely cabin ticked all the boxes required to suit 7 adults from families coming together from afar, different generations, and physical abilities. Spacious yet cozy. The conservatory table was perfect for hysterical games of UNO while the weather dazzled us with its fickle self outside the giant windows, shifting from glorious rainbows over the hills, thunderous rain, and sparkling sunrises. Walks from the cabin were enjoyed by everyone. A Park and Ride into Edinburgh and a short drive to Peebles made days out easy. We had an unexpected plumbing issue and it was sorted out immediately while we were out. All said they slept well and the shower pressure/supply of hot water is fantastic. Underfloor heating is great. would happily stay again!

We stayed at Maggies for a long weekend as my husband was running the Edinburgh Marathon. We have family in Perth who were coming down to join us so it was the perfect location in between Perth and Edinburgh! Maggie met us on arrival and was so lovely. The house is amazing and the location peaceful and perfect for our two families to get together. The kids enjoyed the swing and slide and the lovely garden to run about! The the views are amazing!! Maggie has thought of everything it was like home from home! Would love to return in the future!

Overall superb with hot tub and warm space. Our group suggests accessibility could improve for anyone with a disability eg rails in bathrooms and easier to turn door handles and easier access for the hot tub. Could be clearer instructions for the aga stove and perhaps an extra easier cooker as we were all cooks! We couldn’t get the tv to work though it didn’t matter to us too much. Perhaps the table football could be moved out of the kitchen and done easy chairs put in as the kitchen is the most attractive room to be in! Having said all that we loved it and its accessibility to walking and cycling routes and want to return next year!

This was our second stay at this house and again, it didn't disappoint. Main attraction (for us) is the 5 ensuite bedrooms, with a well appointed kitchen (2 ovens; 2 dishwashers; 2 sinks; huge fridge freezer from when it catered as a guest house). Also there are several rooms with plenty of comfortable seating, so couples/families can spread out. Happy to recommend.

Sophie was a wonderful host and very responsive both whilst booking and during the stay. The house is gorgeous, very well equipped and much larger than expected- a great space for everyone from my young children to my elderly grandmother! It is in beautiful surroundings with lovely walks and towns and beaches nearby. Well worth the visit and we would definitely return.

Lovely stay and very helpful host. The lodge is spacious, clean and private and a great location for exploring the area. Only criticism would be the noise from the boiler and fridge were a little disturbing for sleeping in the adjacent bedroom.

Close enough to the Banchory grocery stores and many restaurants, but out in a nice quiet country setting with a beautiful view out the living room floor-to-ceiling windows. We loved the hot tub on the back deck with its crystal clear water. The cabin warms up fast when it’s cool outside. This was a lovely place to stay a few days while exploring Aberdeenshire.

We had a fantastic weekend staying here to celebrate my best friend. The house is gorgeous with so much space! The photos do not do it justice! There was a lovely pool and hot tub. Sarah came by to make sure we’d settled in and was available if we needed anything. We’d even got a later check out which was a great bonus. Everyone had a great time! I will definitely recommend booking The Granary! I would love to come back for another trip. Sarah had also left us a bottle of Prosecco to welcome us which was a lovely touch we appreciated. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

lovely place to base from for an adventure holiday, we were a mixed group of 6 and had loads of room in the Wallace apartment. lovely well kept site and very friendly staff.

We had a lovely long weekend at Tarken House. The views are beautiful. The house is spacious, well stocked and easily accommodated the 10 of us, all adults. House was lovely and warm and very clean. Beds are very comfortable and good size en-suites. Jonathon was very quick to respond to any queries we had. Would highly recommend Tarken House and definitely be back again.

We had a wonderful stay at Tigh Na Beannaich. Host was very helpful and responded quickly to queries. Beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. Comfortable beds, well furnished and well equipped. The swimming pool (nice and warm) was well used by our party every day it was great fun. Thanks.

We had a brilliant weekend in this lovely accommodation with great facilities. As a family group, including 3 teenagers and a disabled grandad, the accommodation was ideal with a lovely large open planned kitchen/dining/living area, four big ensuite bedrooms (one on the ground floor) and a separate bathroom. We found everything we needed in the kitchen and the large fridge freezer would easily have coped with supplies for a longer stay. The upstairs bedrooms had a luxurious feeling to them. The beds were all very comfortable and the ensuites were well fitted out with good walk in shower cubicles. The downstairs bedroom was smaller but still a good size. The shower had a high threshold for anyone with mobility problems but non- slip bath mats and suction handrails were supplied as soon as we mentioned disability. A shower stool would have been a welcome addition. There was plenty to occupy us without leaving the complex. We enjoyed making use of the sports facilities and the walks.

I stayed at Clint’s static caravan at Seton Sands and had a really enjoyable experience. The caravan was modern, clean, and well-maintained — exactly as described in the listing. The interior was cozy and thoughtfully arranged, with everything we needed for a short stay. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the living space was perfect for relaxing in the evenings. Beds were comfortable, and the heating worked well, which made our stay even more pleasant despite the sometimes chilly weather. Clint was a responsive and helpful host, making sure check-in was smooth and everything was clear before we arrived. We felt very welcome. Overall, this was a great Airbnb experience, and I’d happily recommend this caravan.
