The vacation home is about 90 square meters and can accommodate 2-6 people, spread over 3 bedrooms. On the first floor is the modern furnished living-dining room with open kitchen, a pellet fireplace, a bedroom and the shower room. The kitchen offers all amenities with a dishwasher, oven, coffee maker and toaster. On the upper floor, there is a large bedroom with panoramic windows and an extra sofa bed. The accommodation was designed with a lot of love for detail. The house shines with independence and special character. The house is heated with a wood pellet heating system. The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill. Cozy apartment since September 2017 in a very quietly located former farmhouse on the edge of the forest. If you are looking for hustle and bustle, you will not find it here. However, if you want to switch off and are looking for relaxation, you have come to the right place. Certified by the DTV with 3 stars. If desired, the refrigerator (for a fee) can be filled. In the garden there is a spacious garden house, which we also make available to our guests by arrangement.

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

The beautiful outdoors with great hiking trails surround the detached nature house. A short distance from the house, you will enter the 6th stage of the Bergischer Panoramasteig. A variety of smaller circular and bike paths and the dams of the Bergisches Land invite you to many activities. But you can also enjoy nature experiences or fantastic sunsets from the terrace.
