Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Koillismaa

Good and inexpensive accommodation for our large group. There was plenty of space and comfortable beds for everyone. We found everything we needed. There was room for two cars and a trailer.

The place is lovely, well equipped. There beautiful surroundings, it’s close to the lake and ruka safari is close by. It was a bit hard to operate the washing machine, but other than that we definitely recommend this cabin! Looking forward to visit again 🙏🏽

The house is exceptional, beautiful and right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about a 15-minute drive away. But with appropriate planning, that's no problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

Great location for skiing, access to the hillside right from the door. Plus, elevator tickets were included in the rent. A small apartment has everything you need from home. Peaceful neighborhood. Recommended.

The accommodation was flexible even with a fast schedule. A clean and cool space. The loft ceiling is low, but fortunately it did not cause much inconvenience during a one-night stay.

Fun cabin in Lapland near Ruka resort. Janina was super responsive and very helpful with any questions. Provided great hiking information, and good food recommendations all the way down into what to order off each menu. (The #22 at the pizza place, yum!) Quiet location with a comfy bed, nice living area and well equipped kitchen. Great stay.

It was smooth and quick to communicate with Satu. The stay was clean and at the heart of the activities. Highly recommended! :) special mention was the bob sleds to get down the hill.

We loved the place, near Ruka skiing place and near Kuusamo also. You can find everything you need for the stay. We come in low season so almost everywhere is closed, but thanks to the place we have so many spices to cook. Good value 👍🏻

Perfect location! 5 minutes walk to bus stop and gondola and village centre with supermarket, tourist information and shops. Easy shuttle bus from airport. Recommend wild food restaurant on ground floor. Ski hire on ground floor and also at gondola. Ski locker rooms and lifts. Nice view from balcony to wooded area and village. Lovely apartment with private sauna and lots of storage. We traveled with a 9 year old and 1 year old who tried skiing for first time at Ruka family park at the top of the gondola. Also cross country ski tracks next to apartment and ski hire. Everything was just so easy and accessible for us. We had the best time! Alex and was really helpful with our arrival and quickly helped with WiFi. Perfect family holiday for us!

The accommodation is of course recommended in winter due to its location in the ski area, but also in summer for outdoor activities. Although it is small, everything necessary is available. Communication with Ilari was straightforward.

The stay was in a great location and the apartment was in tidy condition and found everything you need. Not terribly big, but for two adults, especially the right size, 👍🏼 could have stayed longer! A big plus for a parking spot and a fireplace! Bed linens and beds are also good. Highly recommend 🙏🏼

The stay was really good and squeaky clean. The location is really great and peaceful compared to the 24/7 noise in the prayer center. It was also really convenient that you didn't need keys to the apartment, but with the number code, you could get in. A short walk to the rukakeskus is about 5min. Ski trails and a ski lift right next door. A big recommendation for this place!
