From Kowar there are numerous hiking trails (including Śnieżka, the Edge Pass, Skalny Table), which are a great alternative to (often crowded) trails starting, e.g. from Karpacz. There are also many places to visit in Kowary, such as the Underground Tourist Trail of the Kowary Hospital, the Miniatur Park of the Monuments of Lower Silesia, or the Sentment Museum.
