Located in the Kyoto Station business district, you can take JR, Kintetsu and subway trains, as well as buses, to easily access major tourist attractions in Kyoto, as well as Osaka, Shiga and nearby cities such as Nara and Uji. The nearest station is Kintetsu Toji station, about 5 minutes walking. 20 minutes on foot from JR Kyoto Station, about 10 minutes by taxi. The atrium of the house is a traditional Japanese courtyard, with a unique fish pond with a group of koi carp symbolizing good luck, a transparent courtyard and a picture of a step-by-step view will add a touch of harmony and tranquility to your journey. The entire house has three separate bedrooms, two fully functional private bathrooms (Toilets), a bathroom with a premium cedar bathtub, and an open kitchen where you can cook. Reikaku Yasaka | Gion | Historical Machiya

Reikaku Yasaka was a building in ruins with the floor tilted by at least 30cm when we discovered this hidden jewel. The restoration was particularly difficult due to the state it was in but our craftsman’s determination to bring this Machiya back to its formal glory paid off for Reikaku Yasaka. The result is Japanese craftsmanship at its best and we are very proud to be able to share the result with the rest of the world. Check our other house as an alternate option @ Reikaku Kiyomizu-Gojo

The house was an Ochaya (literally "tea house")before and we renovated it, which is an establishment where patrons are entertained by geisha. We kept the original structure and make it much more modern and comfortable. The river in front of the house is the must-see in Kyoto changing from cherry bloom to maples. The best location near Gojo bridge and Kiyomizuーgojo sta. can make it very convenient to all the famous spots.
