This is Ishiyama, Otsu-shi next to Kyoto.Located on the southernmost side of Lake Biwa, it is a lovely city with a river and rich nature.It takes 13 minutes to 3 stops to JR Kyoto Station and 50 minutes to Osaka Station.The area around Ishiyama Station is blessed with nature, and there are also historic buildings representing Ishiyama-ji Temple, and there are many Japanese tourists who visit it.There are also plenty of restaurants, and if you have trouble eating during your stay, please contact me.I love Omi beef, which is also selected as the three major Wagyu beef in Japan. The Seta River, which borders Lake Biwa, Japan's largest lake, has a lot of greenery, and the flow is gradual, and you will feel at ease by taking a leisurely walk along the river and on the banks of Lake Biwa.In addition, the Karabashi bridge over the Seta River has flourished as a key to transportation since ancient times. Thank you for welcoming me for a long stay.　The room was very clean and a very pleasant stay.　The owner was also very kind and listened to me a lot, and was very kind to me. The nearest station was about a 10-minute walk, and it was about 30 minutes by train to Kyoto, so it was easy to get around for sightseeing.　　Mt. Hiei is also nearby, so we will stop there on the way back.

We are so glad we chose this Airbnb. Yukiko is a fantastic host, very kind, and she has a beautiful and charming home complete with a lovely boutique shop in the front. The bedroom is small but the bed is so comfortable. Otsu is a nice city with a much more local vibe than Kyoto. We enjoyed walking around in the evening and also going swimming in Lake Biwa.
