Homely cottage in the national park

This cozy summer cottage is located in the heart of Bohemian Switzerland National Park in the north of the Czech Republic. The symbol of this National Park – Pravčická brána (Prebischtor) is only 7 km far from our homely cottage. This place is unique because of many possibilities for hiking, cycling, relaxing or for mushroom gathering as well. In a couple of minutes you can cross the border and enjoy other interesting places in Germany. The cottage offers 2 bedrooms with 3 beds upstairs and 1 sofa bed downstairs. The living room is a perfect place to sit with family or friends, play the desk games and have a nice time by the fireplace. Television has mostly German and Czech channels. The kitchen is well equipped with the fridge, the stove, the oven, the coffee machine, the microwave, the kettle and the dishes. Clean towels and linen, soap, shampoo and hairdryer are provided. There is a grill with seating in the garden; a roofed pergola with additional seating behind the cottage offers privacy and rest in the nature. Because we want to keep the unique atmosphere of the place, the cottage does not have a Wi-Fi connection.

We ask that you observe quiet hours from 10pm-06am. The apartment is non-smoking. There is a private parking lot in the garden. Possibility to park in the garage directly at the apartment for a fee. The apartment on the top floor is truly unique. It is located on the second floor and and the entire place has been restored to original building. The original roof wooden frame, exposed brickwork, original flooring, fully functional wooden stove helps you to imagine what people lived like at the beginning of last century. Malé změny dělají celek. Celek pak prezentuje naplněné sny. Snažíme se udržet hodnotu historie, kterou hledáme pod nánosy jílu, barev, obkladů a listí. Vize je ale jasná. Tu jsme napsali hned na začátku a držíme se ji mozoly i odřeninami. Prostě: "Cimra bude. Nový projekt. Starý dům. Krásné místo. Prostor snům." Ubytování v 200 let starém domě na pomezí Lužických hor, Českého středohoří, Labských pískovců a České Švýcarska.

The house is off a road about 300 meters from a modern outdoor swimming pool in a very quiet location. In the neighborhood there are bungalows - some of them are occupied all year round. All the technical aids that a normal household has are available (washing machine,, fridge, TV, bicycles, grill, etc.) and can be used free of charge. Internet access is available for 5 euros/stay. We enjoyed our stay at the property. Amenities at the apartment were as described. Especially in the well-equipped kitchen, we were able to cook super. Everything was very clean and cozy. The apartment offers a good starting point for various hikes in the area. Communication with the host was very friendly, we always got quick and helpful answers. We'd come back.

We spent two nights over Pentecost hiking in Bohemian Switzerland. The small cottage is absolutely quiet on a beautiful forest clearing between Jetřichovice and Všemily. It is cozy and very functional, everything you need is there. For small children, there are plenty of toys for indoors and outdoors. After a long hike, the oven and the tub are also a highlight, even if we didn't need them. We liked it very much. The hosts are very, very friendly and attentive. ❤️

Very nice cottage with a great view of the valley. Located in the middle of the forest, so very quiet. Except for a few hikers passing by, there are no other people nearby, making it a perfect place for a break. The amenities offer everything you need for a short stay. The second bedroom is not a room per se but a bed in the attic. It was no problem for us, but those who value more privacy should take this into account. A chic sauna in the garden completes the successful accommodation.
