Our gite is a charming stone house tastefully restored with the traditional French Style, in the heart of the countyside, surrounded by woods and field of the Natural Park of Périgord Limousin (30 km from Brantome). This location is perfect for nature lovers : walks, biking, canoeing on the Dronne, swimming in lakes (Saint Estephe, Saint Mathieu ...) river fishing and autumn harvest ceps. We will also give you some information as days of local market and places to visit because there are an abundance of medieval and renaissance villages and hamlets to explore within the region. The Bumbles Cabin on the Lake

Our cosy cabin enables our guests to enjoy our stunning lake and relaxing surroundings alongside our bistro restaurant next door. The cabin is perfect for fishing and we have a healthy stock of large catfish (silure) and carp for your enjoyment. The cabin is suited to fishermen and couples (it is possible to fish for 12 euros a day or request lake exclusivity, for details please ask.) A BBQ, firepit, and pool (June-September) ensure that your stay will be idyllic in this picturesque setting.

La Berthussie

La Berthussie is situated at the edge of Cussac, a village in the Perigord/ limousine nature reserve: soft hills, lakes, historical sites, and lovely walking trails. Our peaceful and spacious house of 240 sq. m can easily host a family of 8. It is surrounded by a vast mature garden, a private pond just 50m from the house, a chestnut orchard and fruit trees. The supermarket is 5 minute walking distance, as are the boulangerie, a cafe- restaurant/ pharmacie and the weekly market square.

Le Moulin Gite

Le Moulin is a self contained gite next to the pretty river Bandiat. It sleeps up to 7 people in 3 bedrooms. Guests enjoy a large private kitchen and living space and an en suite bathroom with every room. A cot may be added. Dogs are welcome for a charge of 10€ per night per dog. Le Moulin gite has a seating area outside and access to the 8ha of grounds. This garden is not fenced and is bisected by access to the host's property. Large woodburner downstairs and electric heating.
