Cottage holiday rentals in La Gomera

The home is exactly as shown in the pictures and very spacious. It was also very clean and stocked with sufficient towels and duvets. The mattresses were very comfortable as well. The views are just stunning. Although a bit tricky the driveway is easily manageable once you have done it a few times. Suyin is an exceptional host. She welcomed us with a cake and came right away when we managed to lock us out of the home on the first night. She also enquired during our stay whether we miss or need anything. The only thing that needs to be considered when booking this home is that it does not have a heating other than the fireplace in the main room. If it is a bit chilly, there is no way to heat it. It will therefore be the same temperature inside than outside.

My boyfriend and I had such a lovely time staying here. The views are absolutely amazing, and the house is beautiful and rustic. The terrace is very spacious, and there is a little garden that attracts lots of little birds. The whole house is dreamy and surrounded by cute flowers and native plants. We loved using the log burner in the evenings, as it sometimes got quite chilly; this made it even more cosy and homely. Having a car is essential to stay here (and also to explore the rest of the island). There's a Lidl and Aldi nearby and plenty of great restaurants and beaches. Thank you so much for having us!

typical accommodation very quiet and clean. rodolfo is kind and responsive. we had a great time. The little extra: the jacuzzi! in the kitchen, there was everything available. for access to the accommodation, it's like in many villages in Tenerife, you have to love the bends and slopes. The Villa was absolutely beautiful, a pleasure to return to after a day out and perfect for 5 adults and a 2 year old. The Villa was spotless and there was plenty of linen for a two week stay. There is everything you can wish for in the Villa. There is a lovely pool on site, cold water but refreshing on a warm day. The Villa is within easy reach of two Supermarkets and shops and a five minute walk to the regular Adeje Market. An 8 minute walk will bring you to the delightful beaches of Del Duque. The host is super responsive, all in all a great place to be.

Private place, probably best if you arrive by car - the area is very peaceful and quiet. A few restaurants nearby, but with pretty odd working hours so make sure you bring some food along with you! Overall a nice and beautiful place!

The place is beautiful, we have a beautiful view from the accommodation, the terrace. On the other hand, very strong climb to reach the place... Difficult to walk from there in view of the difference in altitude. The good thing is the fairly quick access (by car) to what is to see on the island. Nice little pool and jaccuzi! The bedding and towels available in quantity and very clean in general.

We felt right at home, good location, quiet area with a very good nearby guachinche. You have many trails to do near the house. The house in general was perfect, very clean and tidy. The jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing and was in very good condition. Very clean sheets and towels and very comfortable beds. The only thing you have to park several meters from the house because just in front is usually a neighbor's car, but everything else is great. We only had a problem with the Oven that did not work because the leancas were skipping, but we already communicated it so they can fix it for upcoming stays. What we liked most is that it allowed us to stay on the last day until late because I had no reservations and that is all a detail from the host that very few do. Everything else is perfect. Beautiful home with high quality and versatile amenities. It has everything you need and more (washing machine, clothes rack, sandbox toys, pool toys, lots of blankets, bathrobe,..) There are various outdoor spaces, all of which are very nice and lovingly designed. The only downside: the accommodation is at 600 m. At this altitude, you are often in the clouds in spring while looking at the sunny sea. It's also a lot cooler than the sea.

We had a lovely time at Kaya’s house. The view is amazing. The house is very private with quiet surroundings. It contains all of the amenities. The little town is within walking distance where there are restaurants, a bakery, and a grocery store. We highly recommend it!

This is a very well equipped casa with mountain views. The hostess is helpful. Our 2nd visit and we will be returning !

We had a wonderful stay at Anna Maria’s place in Hermigua, La Gomera. The location is absolutely stunning, offering peaceful surroundings and beautiful views. The house itself is cozy, well-equipped, and the terrace is a perfect spot to relax and take it all in. Anna Maria made us feel truly welcome from the start. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a tranquil and scenic stay in La Gomera.

The apartment or the house is in the quaint Spanish style and exactly as described in the photos. The large terrace offers a magnificent view over the valley with beautiful sunsets. This Airbnb is centrally located for excursions to the Gran Valley, Las Hayas, etc. A rental car is definitely an advantage and a parking space is available. But you can also make wonderful hikes directly from the front door. A small supermarket as well as bar/ restaurant are in 5 minutes walking distance. The hosts,Marina or Lucas, are very friendly and the communication worked out great. Lucas was on site on time at the agreed time for the key handover. Since I only arrived in the evening, the host even bought and there were fresh traditional food such as goat cheese, eggs, potatoes, wine etc in the fridge. A very nice gesture. Would book again anytime

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this charming home! From the moment we arrived, Teresa made us feel incredibly welcome. She greeted us with delicious products from her own garden. The house itself was cozy, clean, and beautifully decorated, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. What really made the experience special, though, was the host's kindness. She went out of her way to ensure we had everything we needed and even shared traditional Xmas cake. It was clear that she cares deeply about making her guests feel at home. We were truly touched by her generosity. We can't recommend this place enough – it’s the perfect blend of comfort, hospitality and beatuful nature. Ana's place is super nice. However, you have to be prepared that it is really remote and the nearest shop is about a 45-minute drive away. The distances are not that big, but the streets are narrow and curvy. If you are looking for peace and deceleration, but this is a wonderful place to stay in the most beautiful surroundings. The equipment is great, everything was very clean and Ana always reachable and very friendly. You can walk from the apartment to the coast to the wild Atlantic (about 20 minutes, 160 meters of altitude) and also take other beautiful hikes. Also from the house and the terraces you can see and often hear the sea - thank you for this beautiful holiday!

Very comfortable house to explore La Gomera - close to all the great hiking and the lovely Santiago beach. The Spar supermarket across the road is so convenient. The house itself was spacious for our family of 5, comfortable beds and all we needed to make breakfast and dinner. Gloria Patricia was very responsive and accommodating. Would gladly come again!

Carmen was very helpful from the start, with App messages a few days beforehand and she welcomed us on arrival, to show us all the amenities and lovely gifts, such as food and drink. When we needed anything, she promptly responded to any questions and offered support. As it was cool weather overnight the log burner with lots of wood was very welcome and brightened up the atmosphere. The location was ideal for walking and birds loved the bird seed on the bird table, which was a welcome addition to the lovely views across the valley, especially when the clouds parted. The island is full of contrasts and worth visiting if you enjoy the natural environment, from cool misty mountains to hot, sun-drenched beaches, warm enough to sunbathe and swim from.

Nice apartment, beautiful views of the mountains - a great stay

We spent almost 5 weeks at Barbara's place. Check-in and communication with Barbara were very good. However, you should try to reach the accommodation before dark, the roads to it are sometimes very narrow and confusing. ;-). The property is located in an absolutely quiet location from where you have a magnificent view of the sea and can watch great sunsets. We particularly liked the very spacious and well-equipped terrace, as well as the very comfortable bed with high-quality mattress. We didn't miss anything in the place, we will be happy to come back.

Tarek has a beautiful place with an even more beautiful view. Everything you need to accommodate a family or larger group. Could not have asked for a better experience on La Gomera. I'd say this is probably one of the top 3 Airbnbs that I've stayed at in my life.

Nice stay and very friendly host !

A very cute place to stay. It's fairly remote but to us that was desirable. The host did a very good job communicating with us ahead of time and during the stay if any issues came up. The location was very close to the national park visitors center and not a bad distance from the hiking itself.

Mari Carmen, the hostess has been very kind to us, at all times available and has given us very good recommendations on restaurants and places on the island. The house is a wonder in the middle of nature to disconnect and reconnect with yourself. It has been a luxury to have a wood burning fireplace in the house.

Very calm and relaxing place with everything you need to really experience the island. Even local herbs in the kitchen cabinets and cards for places to visit. We chatted shortly when José was watering the plants, he was really nice and gave happy vibes :)
