It is located in the middle of the UNESCO World Heritage Site of the Middle Rhine Valley, which has the highest density of historic castles and fortresses in the world.

Old bakery

The old bakery is located on the "Alten Marktplatz" in the old town of St. Goarshausen at the foot of Katz Castle in the immediate vicinity of the world-famous Loreley. In the house, approx. 17th century, a bakery was built, later a local history museum. It can accommodate two to six guests. Two more guests are possible on request. The train station, ferry, pier and the shuttle bus to the Loreley are within walking distance. Ideal starting point to explore the Loreley Valley.

You'll love my place because of the beautiful bathing lake right outside the front door with completely free, fantastic views of the lake from the living room or from the terrace, the hiking opportunities on three dream trails, the cozy sauna, the perfect amenities. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with kids), and smaller groups...

The electricity is generated by a hydroelectric power station adjacent to the valley mill.
