The special charm of this accommodation lies in many details, such as the original preserved wooden framework and the high-quality interior fittings. One double bedroom, sofa bed for 2 people in the living room, dining area, kitchen and bathroom offer plenty of comfort. Accommodation in the pedestrian zone near the market square. Restaurants and cafes right outside the door.

Private guest apartment near Detmold (7 km). Two steps lead over the terrace to the separate entrance of our apartment and from there you have a magnificent view over the beautiful "Lipperland". A private bathroom with shower and a kitchenette with good basic equipment are available. From here there is a good connection to the bus, hiking and cycling trail network in Detmold and the surrounding area. The forest begins right behind the house, you can start hiking straight away.

The apartment has recently been completely renovated. The walls were finished with anti-mold panels and plaster.

NEW: Right next to "Mono" is another house, "Nest in the Forest." You can also visit. Or both… “Mono” is a trailer that was converted decades ago. In the course of a complete renovation, it received a timber frame skeleton all around in 2020 (new roof, new insulation, etc.) and thus a first floor. Size: 3.20 by 13 meters. It is called "Mono" because its exterior, like every room inside, is mainly determined by one color.

Our vacation apartment / craftsman room is located in the attic. The house is in a quiet location of Detmold/Pivitsheide. Your car can be parked for free in a parking space or on the shoulder in front of the house. The bus connection is right outside the door. In the apartment is a single bed that can be pulled out to a double bed, built-in kitchen with oven, stove and fridge-freezer.
