Holiday rentals with a balcony in Lake Maggiore

Lovely clean and renovated apartment. Very functional and comfortable. In a small charming and quiet village in the mountains. Proximity to the Swiss border and Lake Major for beautiful excursions or hikes. We had a pleasant stay. However, be careful if you have a large and wide car, it will not pass on the street that leads to the accommodation but free parking is available very close.

This place is very cozy and clean. It has all we need for a short stay. It is also in a perfect location, just need a few minutes walk to the station. We arrived way before the check-in time, and the host is very helpful - recommending us some details about where we can store the luggage. Will definitely recommend this.

We loved the villa on the island! It was so beautiful and felt like you were experiencing authentic life in the village. Restaurants are all walking distance and open late. The local tourist shops and cafes close at 5pm. And there isn’t much for groceries on the island but baveno and Stresa have affordable options. Just don’t miss your ferry back to the island at 7pm! We tried a few times to find a different boat shuttle service after 7pm and they really only accommodate tours during the day.

We had a great four days in beautiful Mergozzo, thanks to the practical (family) apartment in a central location.

This apartment was really nice in many ways. Great location and view from the balcony, the pizzeria just beside had the best pizza we had in all our vacation in Italy this summer. The apartment was clean and really cozy! If we are going back to lake Como we are for sure renting this again🙏🏽😀

Our stay in Verceia as a family with a total of 7 adults was excellent. The accommodation is very spacious, has two luxurious bathrooms and a wonderful barbecue area. The village is pleasantly quiet and has a great cafe on the lake as well as a great restaurant. We would come back to stay anytime.

We had a very pleasant stay with 9 adults and 3 children. The house is beautiful, first-class amenities (also children's dishes and cutlery are available, as well as high chairs, crib and some toys) and plenty of space and retreat options to retreat in the house and garden. The lake and shopping facilities are within walking distance (or by stroller) in 5/10 minutes. The communication on site and with the hostess worked without any problems. A small deduction, as the WLAN in the rooms on the upper floor and in the basement is only weakly available or not available at all. Otherwise highly recommended.

The place is great as a base for hiking, biking, walking around Colico area. Claudia, the host, is very friendly and helpful person. You have everything you need in the place. Highly recommended and we will definitely come back😁

A great place to stay that matches the pictures. If you like peace and nature around you, this is the place to be. The view over the lake is gigantic and Casa Il Nibio is well equipped. We were completely satisfied and would come back!

Very spacious house with great views! Everything was very neatly cleaned! Large terrace and parking for three cars. Good contact with the friendly key holder. From Gravedona, it is a little fifteen minutes uphill via narrow roads with hairpin bends. In the immediate surroundings you can take beautiful walks. Highly recommended as a holiday accommodation!

We felt very comfortable in the apartment. It exudes a very special charm with typical Italian flair - perfect for a little break. We especially enjoyed the beautiful terrace, which is ideal for eating outside. The apartment is a bit remote, but no problem by car. Parking is available within walking distance of the apartment. Towels, toilet paper, oil and spices must be brought or purchased on site. It is important to note that the stairs in the apartment are quite steep and somewhat dangerous - therefore not suitable for children or people with motor disabilities. The price-performance ratio was absolutely right for us. We would definitely come again.

The house is beautifully refurbished with a modern yet cozy feel, and it was spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything we needed—from a fully stocked kitchen to comfortable beds and a lovely outdoor space. The views from the house are truly stunning—waking up to the mountains and lake each morning was unforgettable. It’s the perfect spot for relaxing, hiking, or exploring the surrounding area. We felt completely at home and appreciated all the thoughtful touches throughout the house. This was one of the most peaceful and scenic places we’ve stayed, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!

If you are looking for a great room right in a perfect location, Helena’s place is for you. Her apartment is in perfect walking distance to all of Milan’s major attractions, is a short walk to the subway station and only a few stops from the main train station, and most importantly is in a great and lively neighborhood packed with friendly people. It’s so close to sempione park I did my morning run through there, and it was only a brief walk to the duomo, and all of the main museums. Helena is amazing, she is friendly and super helpful, with great restaurant recommendations and all of the kindness of an Italian mother. You get your own space, with its own bathroom and privacy, and Helena makes you feel right at home. I had a wonderful stay and will absolutely be coming back to Milan to see her again.

We were pleased to be in this apartment. Most importantly, it was very clean. We were with a child, so it was very important for us. Location - a little far from the subway In general, everything was good. There were all the necessary utensils 👍🏻

Great place, it was really clean. I was very impressed. Close to tube stations which makes it easy to get into the centre of Milan. Horacio was a good host!
