Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Lanark Highlands

Our stay was more than we could have asked for. This Airbnb is a hidden gem. We’ve been to many Airbnbs all over the world, and I can tell you this one is really special. The garden is very spacious, with friendly little cows in the background. The inside is also spacious thanks to the beautiful high ceilings. The decor and original church aesthetic they kept makes you feel at home. The outdoor annex for extra guests is so cozy and cute!! it really comes in handy if you are more than two. This Airbnb truly has everything a household needs, from bug spray to doggy bags. We’re usually honest and critical about Airbnbs, and we don’t shy away from pointing out things that could be improved, but with this one, we truly have nothing bad to say. We would come back in a heartbeat!

We had a lovely stay at Braden’s place. The home was a perfect gateway for 2 people. Big plus for having plenty of firewood for the guests to use. The home was clean & had all the amenities for a great relaxing stay.

Wow. I would have to say that Kathy and Noels home is stunning. It has been beautifully decorated, and very clean and homely with easy instuctions on how to use things inside the home. I remember seeing the station along the K&P trail and saying to myself that i would like to stay there one day, and now i have. We wished our stay was longer, and would definitely return one day. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Thankyou for being such great hosts

We had a great stay in Monica's space! It was comfortable, cozy, and quiet, and the kitchen and bathrooms especially had a thoughtful selection of items you might need while on a trip. When we needed something during our stay, Monica was proactive and helpful. She's also kind and friendly, and she communicated with us while we were there to make sure we had everything we needed. The home itself is walking distance to the downtown area, and it was great to be able to explore the cute shops on foot. We really felt the hospitality and would stay again!

This was my third time staying at this air bnb. It’s beautiful and the neighbourhood is lovely. We go to the Nordik spa and it’s a nice quick drive. There’s a cute cafe not far we had breakfast at. I highly recommend this air bnb.

We rented for 2.5 months And we enjoyed every minute of the place! Lovely surroundings, quiet, enjoyed great fires, Watched the skies and saw the northern lights, falling stars, beautiful spot! A very cozy place, lots of room inside and out. Had the kids out for a visit and walked the beautiful scenic road to Wheelers pancake house and enjoyed their museum as well Thank you for the opportunity to rent your lovely home and treating us so well 😊

We had a wonderful stay! Their Airbnb was immaculate and had so many extras just in case we needed anything, it was truly above and beyond :) I actually got ready for my wedding here with my bridesmaids and Erin & Sadiq were super flexible in allowing my hair and makeup artists to come into the space too. I would highly recommend to anyone staying in the area!

What are you waiting for? Just book! We were SO pleased with the apartment: it's pristine, has everything you need and more (even portable lights at the side of the bed!!), and it's in a great location. To top it off, Maria Kristina is a wonderful host, very proactive, helpful, and ready to help if you have any questions. We will 100% be back again and will be recommending this apartment to our family and friends.

We've stayed at many vacation homes and this one was especially comfortable. Everything in the apartment is well appointed and it's in a great location. Walking distance to the bike trail, to a new beach and to a main street with pub's and restaurants. We loved the Westboro neighborhood. Thank you!

I absolutely loved staying in this apartment - it was comfortable, clean, and easily accessible. Not far from it is the National Gallery of Art and other sites, and on the way there, great restaurants and cafés. Thank you, Mylaine.

Sean is a wonderful host. His million dollar home is incredibly well stocked with all the amenities. I think we’re the first Snowy, Winter review …. and we definitely rate it 5 Stars like all the warm weather reviews. The lovely fireplace glows throughout the massive living room, and our Christmas Dinner at the huge dining table was epic! The house has a magnificent heating system; even single digit outdoor temperatures were no problem for it. Sean deserves his Super Host status …. He didn’t mind me texting & calling him for restaurants and various instructions … a truly nice fellow. The house is a bit hidden away but its views and grandeur are unmatched. We definitely want to return in the summer to take advantage of its magnificent waterfront location. Thank you Sean for trusting us with your mansion!

We had a wonderful time and the property was fantastic and, as described. Everything was spotless and clean and host was very responsive. We will definitely stay here when we come back to Ottawa.

Terry's place is very beautiful, spacious and clean. We were 7 adults and a baby and we had lots of space. The bedrooms are very big with nice comfortable beds. The linens and towels were very good quality. He provided a crib and a high chair for our baby which was great. The kitchen is great, we cooked all our meals the entire time we were there. Lots of grocery stores around. The house backs into a ravine with a beautiful walking trail which we enjoyed. The deck is very nice and we enjoyed sitting outside. This is a great place, we will stay there again if we are in the Ottawa area.

Our stay went really smoothly. Beautiful home, beautiful design. Would love to see a few more items added to the kitchen (pots, pans) Overall very spacious. The kids enjoyed the gaming tables.

I booked the entire Kokomo Inn for my birthday which was New Years Eve for my friends and I! it was a trip centred around visiting the Nordic Spa so the location was perfect as it was peaceful, warm and inviting. We were warmly received by the hosts who had the fire roaring for us and a fully stacked kitchen. what a joy! Everyone had a great sleep and the morning breakfast prepared by the hosts was delicious and so thoughtfully presented! will be coming back every time I'm staying in the area!

We had an unforgettable experience during our stay and look forward to returning next year. The island was beautiful, the many different houses accommodated our large group and each family of the 5 that went had their own space to unwind. The kitchen was beautiful and made meal prep and cooking so easy. The kida had lots to do with basketball, board games, mini pool tables, hot tub and the highlight was definitely the swimming. The water was great, warm and clear at any given time during the day and the kids had so much fun jumping off the docks, using the paddle boats and the canoes. We all had such a great time and are so thankful to Marla and Sherri-an employee who helped us when we checked in and checked out- Sherri was a great help, kind, friendly, hospitable and even recommended a different cottage with less steps for next year that I will definitely look into because it was a beautiful experience. Don't think twice about booking your stay here my family and I loved it!

Our second time here for a retreat. What drew us back was the good value and ample space. Highly reccomend.
