Pet-friendly holiday rentals in Laroque

Due to personal circumstances we had to rearrange this holiday 2 times, of which Remy was very understanding. We booked the villa based on how well the photos looked but were really not ready for just how much better the place was in reality! Le Magnanerie is tucked quietly away in a totally idyllic spot in a gorgeous old French hamlet, boasting the most impressive westerly views across the private pool of the Cévennes, with stunning sunsets. The covered outside area is spacious and perfect to escape the direct summer sun, and the thick stone building is naturally cool. Comfortably set over 3 pretty floors with portable air conditioning in the loft bedroom area. Kids bunk beds are perfectly placed and even though everything is wooden, nothing creaks. Local agent Deborah was very helpful and after driving from the UK, we were pleasantly surprised to have had our best family holiday to date here! We rarely return to holiday destinations, however we will certainly be coming back. Merci

The house is just amazing! It's big and comfortable, has any kitchenware you could ever need to prepare any dinner imaginable and even more! The garden is simply beautiful, our cat was beyond happy to explore every corner of it. We didn't use the swimming pool because it was already too cold to swim, but it adds to the beauty of the garden and we just enjoyed sitting by it in the sun. Thank you Jean-Philippe and Brigitte, for this amazing place. We will be happy to return some day!

Everything was perfect: the warm welcome, the impeccable cleanliness, the comfort of the place… but especially the breathtaking view😍! Every morning, waking up to this magnificent panorama was pure joy🌄. The calm, the nature, the pure air... you feel completely refreshed. The cottage is perfectly equipped, tastefully decorated, and you can feel that everything has been thought of for the well-being of travelers🙏. The house is in a beautiful setting in a beautiful part of the world. There are many superb walks you can do from the house and many more a short drive away. Everything is as described and worked without problems. Very well equipped. Pascale answered any questions promptly and provided excellent local information. If this is your sort of country the house is thoroughly recommended.

We had a great stay. Warm welcome and had small touches for our dog (toy, dog bed). Easy to park. Close to all attractions in the area, close to Anduze and its bamboo grove. Very good place to spend a quiet and safe stay.

We had a great stay, the setting is beautiful with a beautiful view and tranquility, the accommodation is perfect and well decorated, we enjoyed the plancha of the hot tub and pool. the host is super responsive to any requests. i highly recommend this place.

Very pleasant stay in a quaint and quiet village. Small but comfortable accommodation with a green terrace ideal for eating in peace. Beautiful hikes nearby (Saint Guilhem, Navacelle cirque, Séranne mountain...)

Wow! What a stay. This lovely chalet is in a quiet secluded area, with amazing views over the landscapes of the Cévennes. It has everything you might need - stuff for laundry, cooking basics, and a great gas BBQ! It was a great base for seeing some great sights, and we would definitely stay again. The only thing to note would be that there's no step-free access to the property.

A respectfully and tastefully renovated and furnished apartment in an ancient castle. Beautiful surroundings and extremely friendly and helpful hostess and host. We would like to come here.

We had a great time at this cottage. It is well located, particularly quiet, and well equipped. Nothing to say about cleanliness. The only downside for us was the bathroom, with a sink (rather than a real sink), a little stuck next to the toilet. However, given the configuration of the place, it might have been difficult to do better. Clément is a really lovely person, welcoming, available, caring and always ready to help or meet our needs if necessary (I have rarely met this with other providers). The relationship with him is simple and direct. It almost feels like being greeted by a friend. We would have been happy to go hiking with him (I'm sure he would have accepted if that had been the case!). He also gives good advice. We recommend this cottage!

I had a good weekend in this accommodation. The village is nice to visit and the waterfall is really worth seeing! The hike to the Anjeau cave is nice even in the rain. 😉

Janet and Philip were great hosts providing us with the history of the amazing location and its renovation. Every room was spotless and was exactly as described in the posting. It was a great convenience to have breakfast, snacks, and drinks provided. Staying at the castle was breathtaking and was a dream come true for our teenager. It is highly recommended.
