Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Whether as a cheap accommodation after a seminar, course or conference in the city, or as a starting point for relaxing forays through the lovely hills and along the Erzbach and the Aare, here right on the edge of the forest, just a stone's throw from the city center, you are welcome. Directly in the heart of the old town of Laufenburg you find the apartment Altstädtle next to the river Rhein. The sight from the balcony is fantastic, because the flat is on the third floor. There`s no elevator so that you have to be fit to climb the stairs. From the balcony you see directly over the Rhein into Switzerland - Laufenburg has a german and a swiss part!

As hosts, we - Eliane and Erich - try to make our guests' stay as pleasant as possible. The studio is equipped for business travelers, short stays, longer stays and for the home office. For children, two beds and a highchair are available. You can reach nature, a store or the bus station in a few minutes on foot or by bike. We wish our guests a pleasant stay.
