Our holiday apartment "Schwalbennest" is a charming two-room apartment with entrance area, living/dining room, well equipped kitchen and bathroom with shower on approx. 40 square meters of living space. A spiral staircase leads to the sleeping area in the gallery with double bed and sofa bed. The apartment is located in a quiet residential area on a hillside, a few hundred meters next to the Hochrheinradweg and about 12 minutes' walk from the train station and the picturesque old town of Laufenburg.

I call this little home "Tetto Piccolo." It is a 40 m² apartment. Behind the house is a small playground. Next door is the physiotherapy school and the Rhine Jura Clinic. The thermal bath is also within 3 minutes' walk. The Swiss border is also very close. The quiet location close to the mountain lake and a beautiful view of Switzerland invite you to relax. Wi-Fi is available. There is also a tourist tax of €2.5/day/person to be paid.

Comfort meets nature

Received a warm welcome when we arrived. The accommodation felt very cozy from entrance immediately. Location was ideal for exploring the black forest and even the Swiss alps by car. Surrounding was very pretty with also a bunch of nature/trails to explore in a close vicinity. Everything in the accommodation was fresh and clean. Living room nicely finished and comfortable. Kitchen had all appliances we needed to prepare a nice proper evening meal. Bathroom is practical but complete. Bedroom is spacious and beds were not too hard, nor too soft. Complete appartement is fit with roller shutters and the terrace in front had a very nice view. All practicalities aside, Irene and her husband were extremely welcoming and really put in their effort to make it all as comfortable as possible while staying there. We were even offered to go with her for a walk on one of her favourite trails nearby. Also, not to be forgotten to mention, they harvest their own very delicious honey. 10/10

If this Airbnb is available I would not hesitate to rent it! We absolutely loved the area and how peaceful the surroundings are. It’s really stunning. The drive to town is super easy for supplies (mostly groceries) because the house has everything else you could need. The rooms and beds were extremely comfortable and really made coming back after a day of exploring so relaxing. Wolfgang and Corina were very kind and accommodating! They are very fast to respond to questions about the flat and where to find stuff. Such a sweet family (two legged as well as the four legged friends!). Thank you so much!

This accommodation is very nice and furnished with great attention to detail. It offers a lot of space and comfort. The amenities are exactly as described. The coffee machine is absolutely top! I appreciated the very quiet and green surroundings and slept wonderfully in the very comfortable bed. This is where you can really relax. There are a few very good country inns in the area, which can easily be reached by car. The location of the accommodation is ideal for excursions in the southern Black Forest, if you arrive by car. The communication with the landlady worked very well, was very friendly, and I received all the information reliably and quickly. I'd love to come back.

Thomas is a very helpful host and it was a pleasure to have spent a weekend in his home! The location is very quiet and has all the necessary comforts to spend time in total relaxation! Another positive note is the flexibility we found in managing the check in/out! We are really very satisfied with the hospitality and the value for money, certainly if we are in the area in the future we would have the pleasure of being Thomas' guests again!
