Land of a Thousand Mountains

You are in the Sauerland, a region where hiking or cycling is a must. Even the Sauerland pool is in the village. Otherwise, just peace and beautiful landscapes with many refreshment stops. You can swim and sauna in the village or go to Hennesee, about 25 minutes by car. We are very quiet, almost at the edge of the forest and in the center, about 10 minutes on foot. If you want to go shopping, go to the next village of Schmallenberg. We only have discounters!Restaurants are in the village.

It is quietly located in the hilltop village of Schanze (720 m above sea level) on the Rothaarsteig in the middle of a wooded hiking area. In winter, skiing (lifts in Schmallenberg and Winterberg), cross-country skiing and tobogganing are possible.
