Our property sits on 4 acres of tranquil countryside at the top of the verdant Dordogne valleys. Sit back, have a glass of wine, and watch the hot air balloons paint across the sky at sunrise or sunset. Use our bicycles to explore the locale or BBQ outside and take in the scenery.

Le Petit Chateau (Adults only property)

The beautiful 'Le Petit Chateau', at 'La Tuilerie de la Roussie', originally built in 1551 is entirely yours to enjoy. Ideally situated on the bank of the River Vézere in the pre-historic area known as the 'Vallée de L'Homme' between the fascinating town of Les Eyzies and market town of Le Bugue. To explore the area we offer FREE use of mountain bikes and a kayak*, there is direct access to the river and a 12km cycle path. Or simply relax around the heated swimming pool on luxury sun loungers.

Le refuge des cerfs est situé sur la commune de Saint Léon sur Vézère mais nous sommes en dehors du village. Notre petit coin de "paradis" est situé au cœur de la forêt Barade : cet endroit est protégé, naturel et sauvage. Dans cet écrin de verdure, vous trouverez le calme et la tranquillité. Welcome to Chantal and Pascal's. Recently renovated, our quiet independent cottage in a private property with shared pool (unheated, accessible early May depending on the weather), 5 minutes' drive from all amenities, will welcome you with pleasure. Located in the heart of the "BLACK PÉRIGORD" between Rocamadour, Périgueux, Brive-la-Gaillarde, 20 minutes from Sarlat, 5 minutes from the Lascaux caves and many other sites. On site, there are many marked pedestrian and bike trails.

The studio has a fully equipped kitchen area, dining and living area, and a nice sleeping area with a 160 cm bed. The bathroom is equipped with a toilet, sink and walk-in shower. The private terrace overlooks unobstructed countryside views. The owner's house is adjacent but she remains very discreet or even absent.

Our guests share (with 2 other cottages) a large swimming pool with stunning views of the troglodyte cliffs.
