Nestled in the historic old town of the town of Hachenburg, you will find the ideal environment for day trips to the Westerwald lake district, a few stages on the Westerwaldsteig or a visit to the Marienstatt Monastery with a brewery and great beer garden.

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

Haiger/Burbach vacation home

Enjoy our apartment in this quiet and centrally located place with direct access to nature on the Rothaarsteig, whether for hiking or biking. Shopping, pharmacy, restaurant, bus and train station are within walking distance. Baby crib available on request. A washing machine and dryer are also available on request for a fee. For longer stays (from 28 days), intermediate cleaning is required. The fee will be charged on site.

Westerwald time out

"Time out" is the motto here and stands for a few relaxing days in our cozy wooden hut on the edge of the Holzbach Gorge, in the "Fohlenwiese vacation village." The surroundings offer hiking trails (directly on the Westerwaldsteig) as well as swimming lakes and vast forests that can be explored by bike... For absolute relaxation, we offer an infrared heat cabin for two people.

From here, you and your partner can go directly into the nature of the Lahn-Dill mountain landscape. The surrounding area is ideal for day trips. The property is idyllically located on the outskirts of Rotenhain overlooking forest and meadows in the middle between Hachenburg, Westerburg and Bad Marienberg. The apartment is on the ground floor. I live with my partner on the upper floor. The beautiful garden with terrace can be shared and is great for relaxing, barbecuing or playing for children.
