Surrounded by nature, HOUSE POADA is located in a panoramic position at about 400 metres above sea level, in the territory of Mandello del Lario, a charming town on Lake Como, on the bank of the Lecco branch. It offers stunning views of our beautiful lake and loved “Grigne”. It provides a peaceful heaven for those who love nature and tranquillity: you can choose between a wide selection of experiences for relaxation, sport, culture, food and adventure in a unique scenario. The house is located directly on the "Sentiero del Viandante" (Path of the Wanderer), an ancient passageway that used to connect Milan to Switzerland. Nowadays, the trail climbs from Abbadia Lariana , to then enter to the foot of the Valtellina. It has a total length of about 45 km and therefore it has to be organized in stages; depending on the level of training, the course is divided up into 3 or 4 stages. Due to the frequent intersections with the railway line Lecco-Colico, you can complete one stage at time, returning by train to the starting point. The modest height and the excellent exposure of the path make the route crossable in every season. Moreover, you can find many other hiking trails all over the place. The residence is easily accessible by car, going through 500 meters of private road surrounded by greenery, starting from Somana, a picturesque hamlet of Mandello del Lario. Here you will find a welcoming home, hospitality, love for nature, history and traditions of our land, the passion for sports and mountains, as well as the desire to socialize with new people. The farm, recently renovated, is mainly dedicated to the production of oil, thanks to the hundreds of olive trees planted here. They are ideally located on the slopes of the hills: the climate and the favourable nature of the soil allow us to produce high-quality oil appreciated in Italy and abroad. Near the main house you will also find our friendly Tibetan goats, and some sheeps

Allowing my guests to regenerate themselves by seeing the sun rise among the mountains in the background and reflect themselves in the clear waters of the lake is what drives me to open the doors of this delightful studio overlooking the blue.

Franci's Apt | Relax between lake and mountains

Welcome to this lovely and comfortable three-room apartment of 60 sqm, located in the center of Lierna, a stone's throw from the Lake. The apartment is ideal for couples, small groups or families (max 4 people), and is on the 2nd floor without elevator. Thanks to its central location, it is ideal for all those who want to enjoy relaxing days at the lake or in the mountains, and remains an excellent starting point to discover all the beauties of our territory.

The vegetable garden

The apartment is located in a typical fishermen's house completely renovated that overlooks Lake Como next to one of the most renowned beaches, Riva Bianca. From the house you can enjoy a splendid view. The house does not face the road directly so as not to disturb the peace and relaxation. In front there is a garden with a vegetable garden, a beautiful lawn and direct access to the lake promenade. My place is good for couples, families and furry friends (pets).

I highly recommend renting a car. Apartment with a panoramic terrace that directly overlooks Lake Como and allows you to admire wonderful sunsets. You'll find free parking on the road, just 100 meters away. The apartment is located in the charming upper area of Fiumelatte (Pino). It is 2.5 km from the center of Varenna. It is strategically located: from the windows we can admire the spectacular village of Bellagio. I recommend a car to get around on your own.

Located near the town of Lierna, the natural house is a cottage framed in a flowery garden directly overlooking the lake. You can sunbathe, swim in the clear waters of the lake and relax in the small private sauna. It will be amazing to have dinner on the lake at sunset after a swim or a sauna. In the town center, a 5-minute walk to the train station and boat station. Supermarket, laundry, ice cream shop, bar, coffee shop, deli, hairdresser, bank, pharmacy. A 10-minute walk to the beautiful Riva Bianca beach. Stretch of the Viandante trail that connects Lecco/Colico near the apartment. Varenna, Bellagio, Menaggio, Cernobbio, Como, Lecco... the pearls of Lake Como are easily reached by public transport and Lake Como navigation.

The home of olive trees

Independent apartment on the top floor of a house inhabited by the owners. Completely renovated with air conditioning and everything you need for your stay. Guests can enjoy a garden with sun loungers and umbrella where you can sunbathe, have lunch, or barbecue. Bicycles can be stored on the property. 50 meters from the house there are three free parking lots and a grocery store. To be paid on site: tourist tax €2.00 per day per person.
