The teacher's residence with adjoining former dwarf school with its large garden is located on the outskirts of the small village of Strüth in the Taunus. A few steps outside the front door lead hiking trails into nature. The Premonstratensian monastery is also worth a visit. In the village itself there is a bakery , a hairdresser and a restaurant. also a doctor and a pharmacy. All other shopping facilities (Lidl, Aldi, Rewe, DM, organic shop, etc.) are located (about 10 minutes by car) in Nastätten.

Die offene Atelierwohnung im Torhaus ist Teil einer ausgebauten Hofreite aus dem 17. Jahrhundert. Alte Hölzer und freigelegtes Fachwerk sind von Rosenstöcken und einem wunderschönen Garten umgeben. Beim Einrichten haben wir großen Wert auf Nachhaltigkeit gelegt. Bestehendes wurde auf- und umgearbeitet. Ein Großteil der Leuchten, Textilien sowie die Bilder stammen aus unserem Atelier. Dadurch bekommt die offene Architektur ihren besonderen Stil sowie den freundlichen und eigenen Charakter.

Mehr Mittelrheinromantik geht nicht.
