Family-friendly holiday rentals in Livorno

We stayed here for 10 days with 4 people and we had a fantastic time here. It was like we ended up in a movie. With all our questions, we were able to contact the reception and were well helped. If possible, definitely join the wine tour on Friday, which was very fun and educational. We really recommend Poggio al Casone even if you have to make a stop in between.

Davide and Annalisa's cottage was absolutely gorgeous, exactly as the pictures showed. It was the perfect place for us to relax and enjoy our last week in Italy. Breakfast out on the patio with the birds chirping and surrounded by nature was a great way to start the day. Davide lit the heater for the hot tub for us and we were able to enjoy a wonderful evening relaxing. Davide and Annalisa were full of good recommendations for restaurants and local places to visit. The cottage is within driving distance of so much - Pisa, Florence, Siena and of course San Gimignano just to name a few. All the amenities we needed were included, the WIFI was great and the cottage was very comfortable. I would highly recommended staying here and if we are ever in the vicinity we would certainly stay here again.

Fantastic property, not new but really well kept and looked after. Spectacular outside space with grape vines over a pergola. Pool was a lot bigger than expected and a nice touch. Fabulous greeting and a welcome basket with local treats and Angiolo’s wine. Great location for touring Tuscany. We would definitely go back!

We were a family with teenagers in the accommodation for a week and couldn't have found a better place. Everything was exactly as described. Due to the room in the attic, which was very well air-conditioned, there was always the possibility of retreating. The place was sparkling clean. There was no slightest fault. We were very warmly welcomed by Daniele and his family and personally said goodbye. There were a whole range of tips for restaurants and excursions. I can really recommend the beautiful house without reservation. We felt very comfortable, thank you very much.

Awesome place to stay if you are looking for privacy and nature going hand in hand in the beautiful chalet surrounded by peaceful calmness and a relaxing atmosphere. Maria who is a very friendly Host was always helpful and responded very quickly if we had questions and we are thankful for whole service (with the car :) We recommend the chalet a 10/10 and would revisit it anytime again !

We spent 3 fantastic days in Daniele's villa, immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside. We were 9 friends and the house was perfect for our stay: spacious, clean and equipped with all comforts. The outdoor pool and jacuzzi were the stars of our relaxing days, while the indoor sauna added a special touch to the evenings. The common areas are spacious and well organized, and the outdoor porch is ideal for a barbecue. Daniele was an impeccable host: always available and attentive, he made us feel welcome right away. We recommend this stay without hesitation, perfect for those seeking peace, comfort and a beautiful place to share moments with friends.

We had a fantastic stay! The accommodation is beautifully located, high above Pistoia – about 30 minutes away – in the pleasantly cool mountains, which was ideal in the summer temperatures. Even though the well-known cities of Tuscany are a little further away, the location was perfect for us. Daniele and Alessandra were very hospitable, always available and gave us many valuable tips about the area. We have grown very fond of Pistoia during this time. The combination of the quiet, natural location of the bnb and the lively, charming city life was just right for us. The area is ideal for motorcycle, scooter or bicycle tours: winding mountain roads, magnificent views and many small, old villages that invite you to discover them. Thank you!! My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

It was special treat to be welcomed by Laura when we arrived. She was a great hostess. We felt very comfortable in the spacious surroundings which included an outdoor terrace with expansive views across the Garfagnana valley. As we didn't have a car we walked into Barga which is about 20 minutes. Barga offers shops, restaurants and art galleries. I found lots of opportunities to do some painting around the old town and walks to nearby villages. We loved Barga and are keen to return.

great experience, the apartment was very clean. Parking was also easy to find in the area despite it being the night before a masquerade. Giovanna was very friendly and kind and asked us several times if we needed anything.

Maria Victoria is a very nice hostess. She was always available and at the same time very discreet. The accommodation is beautifully located, the journey there is worth it. The facility is very tasteful and high quality, you have everything you need. We will be happy to come back.

Cristina is the perfect host and the house is beautiful. The surroundings are amazing and the views......wow! All through the booking and our stay there Cristina was swift to answer any questions we had and also was happy to offer suggestions on places to go and where to eat. We had a perfect week there and I wouldn't hesitate to go back or to recommend her place to anyone else. Cristina and her sister met us at the house and showed us round, clearly pointing out all the relevant bits that we would need to know. Thank you so much for making our week in Italy so special and enjoyable......we are already looking to come back!

Beautiful, and peaceful…just the singing of swallows in the morning. Everything you want to wake up to in the morning….a beautiful view, the option of a morning swim, and a baker who delivers. I’d advise getting up with the sunrise and sitting on the terrace with your coffee, the birds and the mountains. Francesca is super flexible and helpful for everything. It’s a few minutes drive from Barga which, although is small, has several excellent restaurants

If you're looking for a private sanctuary tucked away behind the walls of the palazzo but just a few steps from the action, Fabio's place is the one for you. The little terrace overlooks a lovely rustic garden and stone walls and the apartment is spotless. We loved sitting on the terrace with a glass of wine in the evening before going out or having dinner at one of the many cafes and restaurants nearby. Fabio's son in law Massimo met us at the bus stop when we arrived and brought us straight to the apartment which was a huge help as we each had a suitcase and when we needed to get to the airport he organised for his friend to take us. It was cheaper than a taxi and a lovely drive through the Tuscan countryside. He also gave recommendations for places to visit and was extremely kind and respectful of any questions we had. We can't recommend the location and apartment highly enough. It's perfect for exploring St Gimignano on foot and close enough to the bus stops for a day excursio

The accommodation was perfect - we had a calm, quiet apartment to rest and hang out by the pool or on the terrace. From there we made trips to different beaches and cities, which was convenient. Alessandra was so kind to us, gave us recommendations and helped with local tips

Our stay at Marina and Paolo’s hilltop home in the Tuscan hills was nothing short of magical. The house is a true piece of paradise, immaculately clean, with breathtaking views that left us in awe every day. Marina and Paolo were incredibly kind hosts, making us feel completely at home. The swimming pool was fantastic, and the entire experience immersed us in the charm of Tuscan life. We highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for an unforgettable getaway!

**Unforgettable Stay with Perfect Pool and Stunning Views** This BNB met our expectations during our family trip to Italy. The property was clean throughout, and the hosts went above and beyond with their hospitality - greeting us warmly in person and thoughtfully providing welcome snacks and a bottle of wine. The pool is absolutely perfect and became the centerpiece of our stay. Some of my most cherished memories from our entire Italy trip were spent relaxing by the pool with my family. The sunset views from the property are breathtaking and provided the perfect backdrop for our evenings. Both sisters who run this place are genuinely wonderful people who clearly care about their guests' experience. Their personal touch made our stay feel special and welcoming.

Amazing place! Nestled in the beautiful surroundings of the Lucca hills. Very peaceful. Lots of birdsong. We saw a deer in the garden! The grounds are brilliant and the place is the perfect size for a couple. We loved eating on the terrace with the great view, and swimming in the private pool. Only a short drive to Lucca which has some amazing restaurants (our favourite was Osteria de Pasquale). There’s some great vineyards in the area - our favourite was Fattoria Sardi. If I was reading this review I wouldn’t think twice about booking!

Our stay with Silvia was very pleasant...very quiet, beautiful garden, swimming pool,...also Silvia, her husband, and children were extremely friendly..and helpful...beautiful base to visit all the surrounding larger cities..we had 10 beautiful days of leave in Empoli...definitely recommend..good value for money!!
