When you step out the door, you are directly between the terraces and shops, walk about 100m further and you will be at the Pikmeer where you will find opportunities to rent a (sail)boat. After a nice day in the area, plop down on the sofa or outside in the sheltered and sunny south-facing garden. From the living room you step into the bedroom with an ensuite bathroom with a rain shower.

There is plenty to do both at the park and in the surrounding area: Walking/cycling/National Park Lauwersmeer/children's entertainment during holidays/swimming/playgrounds/horse riding/bird watching/fishing/water sports/Schiermonnikoog/mudflat hiking/bowling/Animal park/Pieterburen/Groningen etc.

In de omgeving vind je de mogelijkheid voor veel activiteiten zoals natuur, wandelen, zwemmen, kanovaren, vissen, golfen, paardrijden, museumbezoek, winkel en horeca bezoek, steden, fietsen en minigolf. Here in the quiet Frisian Rohel, you can really be outside, feel the wind in your hair and the sun on your skin. Cycling and walking along the meadows and (cold) swimming in the Tjeukemeer. Drink a glass of wine on the terrace by the water, with the view of infinity, under the old fruit trees in the garden. Apart from the sounds of birds, the rustling of the wind and in the distance a tractor, you hear nothing at all here. The sunsets can be amazingly beautiful here.

GlückAhoi: South-facing balcony & beach chair

My apartment "Glück Ahoi" is located in a quiet yet central location on the island of Borkum and offers the perfect starting point for island tours, beach excursions and bike tours. Restaurants and the town center are within walking distance. The lovingly furnished apartment offers a bedroom with box spring bed and a cozy living room with open kitchen and access to the south balcony. A private beach chair on the north beach from April 1 - September 30 is included!

Hof van Onna

Een prachtig houten huis gelegen op het erf van mijn ouders. Kom tot rust in een oase van groen van voorjaar tot begin najaar, een prachtig warm herfstgevoel wanneer de bomen van kleur veranderen of de knusheid opzoeken in de wintermaanden. In de prachtige omgeving zijn veel plekken te bezoeken. Giethoorn, vestingstad Steenwijk en de Havelterheide. Verder zijn er drie nationale parken in de buurt, NP Weerribben Wieden, het Drents Friese Wold en het Dwingelderveld.

The house is comfortable, sustainable and equipped with every comfort – with underfloor heating, air conditioning per room and a complete kitchen. Outside, you can enjoy your own garden with a deck and SUP. Perfectly located, close to the Wadden Sea, the Lauwersmeer, Dokkum and the boat to Schiermonnikoog or Ameland. A nice place to relax and enjoy the surroundings!

Welcome to our comfortable home in Friesland, the Netherlands. This spacious house of 110 m² can accommodate a total of 4 guests and is also suitable for pets. It is the perfect retreat for nature lovers. With its picturesque location in Nijewier (in Frisian) and Niawier (in Dutch) and the proximity of the Wadden Coast and Wadden Islands, this house is the ideal starting point for excursions and discoveries in the area.

Idyllic cottage for yourself in Giethoorn

This cute white cottage with a thatched roof is like from a fairy tale book! As if you really live in authentic Giethoorn. (North) The boats can be rented from the neighbors and the beautiful bridges can be found only a 6-minute walk away. Without hordes of tourists. (They are in Giethoorn Zuid = 45 minutes walk) Unfortunately not suitable for infants/children from 0 to 8.
