Holiday rentals with a fire pit in Llano River

This was our second stay at Carey's place. The house is beautiful, clean, and comfortable and has everything you need for a wonderful stay. The kitchen is open and functional. The living area is spacious and open. We especially enjoy the back porch and natural, quiet surroundings. The quiet, dark bedroom makes it easy to relax and get a good night's sleep. We love this location and would definitely stay again.

We LOVED Paula's place. It was more than perfect for us a family of 4. The house was stocked well with everything needed to cook family meals. We really enjoyed the closeness of the Guadalupe River. My kids really enjoyed the canoe & fishing. The property was beautiful & peaceful. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for a disconnect from city life.

Mary and Ken’s wildlife ranch is hands-down the best Airbnb we have ever stayed at. It’s private, serene, perfectly situated in hill country, just outside of Fredericksburg. The home itself has everything you need and is the best stocked Airbnb I have ever encountered. The wildlife was amazing… we easily counted over 60 wild deer each day coming and going, as well as wild hog, turkey, and many birds. As an Airbnb host this is the level of hosting I strive for… they have thought of everything and ensure that you are well looked after; they are kind and generous hosts. I would highly recommend this Airbnb to anyone who is looking for a getaway away from the crowd, but close enough to go to town if you want to.

We had a wonderful visit to Fredericksburg and stay at the Riddle Haus. The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was walkable to main street which was great. Jordan was very responsive to any questions we had and the riddle was very fun to solve. My two kids really enjoyed it! We would definitely recommend for anyone visiting the area! Thanks again!

Perfect! Everything about this place is beautiful and luxurious. Everything you could possibly need and more. Had the pleasure of briefly meeting the owner, he was lovely; very kind. We will definitely be back!

This home was absolutely beautiful! The view of the lake and hills was stunning. Everything was clean and labeled and Brad was super responsive. What I especially appreciated were the extra towels and throw blankets available. We loved the binder provided with all the local things to do as it made it so nice to plan our stay and make reservations where needed. The hot tub was the highlight of our evenings. The jets and temperature worked perfectly and the view of the stars in the sky was incredible. The home was really close to everything we wanted to do. The observatory is an awesome experience, even though there was a bit of clouds when we went we were able to see about 2,500 stars! The town itself was super cute and everyone was so friendly and helpful. The motorcycle museum was great too. This home is a must if you are looking for relaxation, peace and quiet. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be staying here again. Thank you Brad!

This is a little slice of Eden! So many birds! I especially liked the hummingbirds! The home is even cuter than the pictures, with so many interesting artifacts from history. We appreciated how well-stocked the little cottage was. We lacked for nothing. She even provided water. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful place to stay. It was very relaxing, and secluded Paul looked amazing. Unfortunately it was a little too cold outside to use.

I have high rating because although I had trouble finding and getting in, maybe others wouldn't so much. I think extra instructions on how to find the unit now quickly could help. I really wanted to Take a bath and most maybe wouldn't notice, everything looked clean... She offered so kindly to have to cleaned for me. she was very flexible and kind about letting me check out later. The place realy is nice and neat. feels a bit sterile in a way. rugs would definitely be good. overall a nice place to stay. lots of nice Kcups and complimentary things. if I had stayed longer, they had really nice and fun amenities. lots of treats and snacks in the cowork area. realy overall a pretty neat place. spetve out in the open., newer not really any shade trees.

I absolutely loved my stay!! The host was very communicative and responded very quickly to any questions I had!! The place was peaceful and a perfect get away spot to be alone by myself, which is exactly what I needed this weekend!! Overall it was one of my best airbnb experiences!! I'll definitely be back again next year!!

The bed was comfortable—something I rarely find in Airbnbs. Most places have mattresses that are sunken in, but this one was supportive and high quality. The house itself felt like staying at a family member’s place—warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully prepared. Vicky does a fantastic job stocking the essentials, and the layout of the home is intuitive and well-organized. It’s clear the space was designed with both comfort and practicality in mind. There was a rainstorm during my stay, and the home held up great. It felt solid and peaceful throughout. The location is convenient, just a short drive to a gas station and Walmart, which came in handy for a longer stay. While it’s close to the highway (so not ideal for walks or outdoor exploring), that wasn’t an issue for me since I was in Lampasas for a conference. Overall, this stay exceeded my expectations. Compared to others the event, I had one of the best lodging experiences. Highly recommend for staying in Lampases.

We came in town for a quick overnight. Erin’s place was perfect - cozy, well stocked, and clean! Would definitely stay again.

John and Suzanne, Thank you so much for the lovely stay at your 2 bedroom cabin. It was absolutely perfect for our quiet weekend away. We especially appreciated how close it was to Perdenales Falls State Park and that you allow pets – that was a big bonus for us! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting out on the patio, listening to the birds, and watching the sun go down. Everything was so wonderful that we didn't have to bother you at all. Thanks, Laurie

We enjoyed our stay at this cabin. The location is nice with river access within walking distance.

Enjoyed seeing the deer, Cardinals and squirrels during our stay. Relaxed in the hot tub, underneath the beautiful oak trees. House has all the amenities and kitchen items necessary for a home cooked meal. Went shopping at the local grocery store, also nearby. Location is approximately 2 miles from town. Close to several wineries and restaurants. Michael was very responsive to any inquiries. Highly recommended.

My husband's and I could not be more happy with where we stayed! It was absolutely gorgeous, perfect for the 2 of us, and we loved the hot tub. It was so peaceful and quiet at night and I slept like a baby. Next time we are back in town we will definitely stay here!

A perfect weekend getaway. Just the peaceful environment we were looking for. The space was clean, cozy, plenty of space. The 7.5 acres was so much fun for our 2 dogs to explore. Absolutely nothing negative to say! Thank you!

The Gumbo Getaway was a beautiful secluded space just a few minutes outside of the town. Well equipped home. Kelsey was proactive in her communications throughout our stay and I even ran into her while walking my dog, extremely friendly and made me feel right at home.
