Chalet holiday rentals in Locarno District

We had a great stay in Fiesch. Simone is a great Host and was helpful anytime. The house is located close to the train station and gondola station tobte Aletsch glacier. We would like to come back anytime.

Our days in Ludiano were wonderful and very relaxing. The rustic cottage is lovingly furnished and very cozy. Rarely, however, do you find such a modern and cozy bathroom in such an old wall. We enjoyed the beautiful garden with a view of the valley at any time of the day. Our dog also felt very comfortable and found 🐕 a very friendly colleague in Yuri. But the best thing, in addition to all the beautiful bike tours and hikes, was the nice contact with Sandro, a very warm and friendly host. Thank you, we'll be happy to come back!

Very pleasant hosts! An apartment to feel good with great views and lots of peace and quiet!

We had a great time staying here. The views are amazing and the cabin is very cosy, very well laid out and really well equipped for cooking as well as with games, books, maps and activities for children. We visited in early June which was a great time with lots of lovely alpine flowers. Most of the walking routes were accessible although there was still quite a bit of snow on some of the higher paths in the area. Just to point out since we didn't realise, Swiss plugs are different to those in many other European countries and so you need to bring the correct adaptors if coming from outside Switzerland. We would definitely recommend staying here.

The house is beautiful (of course you have to get involved with heating with wood and living without a dishwasher). We enjoyed the time very much and would like to thank the host Sandro again 😊 Only small drawback of the house: In November you only have 3 hours of sun. But considering that you live in the mountain valley, that's perfectly fine.

Of course we saw the photos of an old chalet before but only at arrival we were thrilled to realise we were to stay in a traditional Valais block house built in a charming pine forest with a rough rocky landscape right behind the house. Originally, these granaries typical of Valais were built on wooden poles with large flat staddle stones to prevent rodents. We were fascinated by its unique architecture and the beautiful little forest. Inside it had all we needed. Downstairs living room, balcony in the sun, functional kitchen even containing a raclette and a cheese fondue set (buy burning paste in supermarket), bath and 2 bedrooms under the roof. As it was silent and peaceful at night we slept great. Different from other airbnb's you collect the key in the well indicated reception building, 3 minutes walk away. We would definitely stay again here.

wonderfully restored chalet, furnished with attention to detail. A fantastic view of the mountains, you immediately feel comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with everything your heart desires, Claudia spoiled us with homemade strawberry jam and gave us a loving introduction to the chalet. We have had great hikes and excursions. If you want, you can start directly from the house, put on your hiking boots and go up into the mountains. The train station is within walking distance and the trains are simply great .... and on time!!!! The house itself is great, there are enough possibilities to hang and store backpacks, jackets etc... Perfect storage options also in the upper bedrooms and in the bathroom. We are grateful for the great week and can only recommend this uniquely loving chalet.

Maya’s place was our idea of a getaway. You get to connect with the nature and get to experience a bit of the life of the locals. Maya was a super super host; we felt welcomed and right at home. We were a pretty big group of 11 pax with 9 adults and 2 kids. We had the whole place to ourselves and there was more than enough space for the whole family. loved the quiet neighbourhood. We went in summer so the town used it as a Base to explore interlaken area, lucerne and zermatt. Though most of these locations was 1-2 hours drive away it was still pretty worth it. The drive up to andermatt everytime was really unique and beautiful aswell. A few of the breathtaking and scenic mountain passes are also within an hours drive ( Furka, oberland, grimsel pass).

We had a great time, the Maiensäss is beautiful, very well equipped, great location. Everything tip top!

Fantastic home and host. Very comfortable home for 2 families and very close and easy walk to everything! 20-30 seconds to bus stop… 1-2 minutes to Gemsstock Gondola… 3-4 minutes to cafes/bars/restaurants… 8-10 minutes to train station….

Beautiful chalet with several rooms. Well equipped. We also used the charcoal grill, great. The view is fantastic. Communication with landlords was easy and always very fast. We can recommend the accommodation 100%

We spent a wonderful week in Obergesteln and in the apartment Breithorn. The location as well as the size and furnishings of the apartment were great. The three spacious rooms were great to share the apartment with six people. We enjoyed the large and bright living area, from which you have a fantastic view into the valley. Highly recommended and gladly again.

Thomas' vacation home is unique. The converted barn is very clean and decorated with a lot of love. Thomas is accommodating and very easy to reach. The neighborhood is very quiet. On our first day, Thomas was personally present and showed us the house and explained the details. A freshly baked braid was ready for us on the kitchen table. Thomas is a very good host.
