Holiday rentals with a fireplace in Locarno District

Amazing house in the middle of a paradise! We loved every second of our weekend and would recommend this place if you want to relax and recharge from the chaos of the everyday life. The house was clean and has everything you need.

Tucked into the stunning Verzasca Valley, this cozy stay was a peaceful gem. The views were incredible, and the room was spotless and comfy. We were only there for one night, but it left a lasting impression—would happily return!

Davide's house is really very nice and tastefully renovated. The view is awesome, especially from the large bedroom. Below is a beautiful swimming spot and you can start hiking directly from the house. The Verzasca Valley is very beautiful. In the house there is everything you need. And the food at the Osteria in Corippo is very tasty. Note for dog owners: A frequently used hiking trail leads directly past the garden gate, and dogs also pass by here regularly. You need very relaxed dogs, otherwise you will regularly have barking at the fence.

Very dear hosts, we felt very welcome and very comfortable from the first moment. Inside and outside, it is very comfortable and lovingly furnished, we lacked nothing. Great that it also has two bicycles. We enjoyed it very much, also the location, perfect for various excursions or just sitting in the garden under the pergola and relaxing. We will be happy to come back. Thank you both!!!

This was a lovely holiday here and Adriana was friendly and helpful even though English was not one of her languages. Clean and very comfortable accommodation- upstairs and down. Not a lot of room in main bedroom. Great bathroom and very easy to use kitchen . Coffee, jam, milk and crackers all provided . As we came from Australia ( most guests were from switzerland) we were unaware of local restaurants recommended and where to get groceries locally; so perhaps written instructions could be done for future guests. There is a little lack of privacy near the bathroom to the bedroom and perhaps lack of privacy near the door and in the lounge room. Great stay for seven days and highly recommended.

since we were already here last year, of course we already knew everything. For us, the few days were very relaxing again and we would come back anytime. the apartment is spread over 3 floors but that did not bother us. also that no TV is available, we can only see as an advantage. Sometimes away from everyday life and all the luxury stuff. There are plenty of other possibilities in Ticino. That's luxury enough. Thank you, gladly again.

Access on the day of arrival was super uncomplicated and very easy. Then take the elevator directly to the terrace and therefore absolutely no tinkering when lugging suitcases. The view is out of this world! Such a panoramic view is very rare on Lake Maggiore. That alone is worth the money! The place was very clean, from linens, kitchen to bathrooms, all tiptpop! A heated pool with also fantastic views of the Lago and Isola Brissago... Just a dream... We will definitely be back....

The house was great, everything very clean, in a quiet, central location and generously equipped with all the details. We immediately felt at home. Caroline is an excellent host, responds very quickly, gives good tips and is very flexible. We can highly recommend this house and Caroline as a host with a clear conscience. Thanks for everything. We stayed at Piroska's for the weekend for a wedding. The apartment was as described and was very clean. It has all the necessities. Piroska was very responsive and accommodating. Everything was perfect.

My husband, 6yo daughter, and I stayed at Carolina's apartment for two nights. The large terrace and the view of the lake and mountains are amazing - this alone is worth the stay. The apartment itself, though, was also very clean, comfortable, and spacious. The elevator directly to the apartment is convenient, and parking was very easy. The location is excellent - a quick walk to the lake, and we also walked to Locarno, stopping at multiple playgrounds along the way. There is a Coop gas station with a market nearby for quick groceries, and a bus station is also close. We had lovely autumn weather while there, so I can't speak to temperature control in the warmer months, but we did see several AC units, and there were fans available. All in all, I highly recommend and hope to return sometime very soon!

Monica's place is really beautiful! The view on the lake is a dream! We felt very comfortable and were able to relax here! Everything was perfect. Monica even organized a surprise for my birthday at the request of my partner and went to great lengths to do so! We felt completely comfortable! Since we liked it so much, we spontaneously extended one night. We will be happy to come back!

We had a wonderful stay at the apartment. The flat was exceptional clean and located in a great part of Ascona, very close to the lake. Also the communication with Alex was excellent. My family and I highly recommend this Airbnb and want to visit again as soon as possible.

Great location of the property with beautiful lake and Brissago Islands views. On the balcony as well as in the garden you can enjoy the sun. The communication and reception by Katrin was straightforward and I received a lot of information and recommendations for the area. Close parking. I would book again anytime.

There were four of us in Eva's apartment and we had a great stay! The apartment was very clean, well equipped and cozy – ideal for our short trip. The coffee machine with capsules was particularly practical, perfect for starting the day. Eva was very friendly and helpful. She gave us great tips for the area and was always available for questions. We felt very comfortable and would come back any time. Clear recommendation!

Ingrid was super accessible and very straightforward. The check-in was flexible and everything went smoothly. The accommodation is in a quiet area, is cozy and the beautiful outdoor seating area with outdoor kitchen was a real highlight. Highly recommended!

Very special house! Original. Lots of art in the house. Stunning views. All the facilities available Clean. Quiet village. Pool was lovely given the high temperatures! Surroundings are beautiful. Lots of beautiful walks made. Bicycles rented at 3 minutes' walking distance. Very nice people. Speak Italian and a little french. Great bike ride for mountain bikes made from the house. Electric support necessary. Very friendly reception. Technical defect was resolved very adequately and quickly.

Super friendly accommodation and operator. We were warmly welcomed and always asked if everything was okay or if anything was needed. Local tips for daytime activities were also provided. The valley is uniquely beautiful and ideal for a break. Everything was a great fit for us.
