Oldest house in Quentel From "Schniede Hans Hus", as our house was called around 1521, today a cozy 114 m² vacation home with three bedrooms, a living room with fireplace, a well-equipped kitchen, a guest toilet, a bathroom with shower and bathtub for our guests has been created. Free Wi-Fi and parking right in front of the house are just as much a part of our offer as a terrace with a BBQ and garden. Hessisch Lichtenau with its shopping facilities is also only 5 minutes by car from Quentel.

Open living space with kitchen area and dining area overlooking treetops and gardens, sofa, music system (vinyl, CD), TV, radio + Wi-Fi. The large bed (160 x 200 cm) is separated by the room layout; shower room. Important information The apartment is on the 2nd floor, the upper stairs are steep. The bed is under a sloping roof. No pets, non-smokers only, no parties.

All 3 bedrooms have a flat-screen TV. 2 bedrooms have a double bed, the single bedroom has a bed 1.20 m wide. The kitchen is well equipped with dishwasher, oven, Senseo coffee maker, toaster, etc. The daylight bathroom has a shower/bathtub. A hair dryer, towels and various care products are provided.

We live in the countryside with lots of greenery and fresh air, a free spirit and are open to guests. The bakery with traditional furnishings, wood-burning stove, sleeping loft and timeless comfort is located separately on the property. Next to the residential building (40 m away) is the modern bathhouse for the exclusive use of our guests. In our house, we read a lot, philosophize, drink good wine and take care of the essentials in life, pure reduction! Adventure instead of luxury.

Direkt am Kaufunger Wald gelegen und mit einer sehr guten Anbindung zur Dokumentastadt Kassel erreichst Du von hier alle Wander- und Radwege rund um Kaufungen und seiner Region. Am Abend kannst Du auf dem Balkon den herrlichen Sonnenuntergang mit einem fantastischen Ausblick in die Natur genießen.

The newly renovated, comfortable studio is on the ground floor of a traditional half-timbered house (Fachwerkhaus). It offers about 32.00 square meters of living / dining room with sofa bed, a bedroom with double bed, a small fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom. The studio can be occupied by 1-4 people. Floor-to-ceiling windows ensure good lighting and an attractive view of the quiet, green garden, in which there is a separate seat that belongs to the studio.

Family Waldkauz's guest house in the middle of the forest

Our accommodation is located in the middle of Germany, close to Kassel and surrounded by nature. You will love it because of the heavenly tranquility, the gateway to the forest and yet only 20 km away from Kassel by car or tram. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, families (with kids), and big groups. Unless they are uncontrollable fighting dogs, animals are welcome to us and regularly feel very comfortable.
