Small summer garden house with large terrace surrounded by greenery. It's kind of like a hotel room by the forest. The special thing about it is that a gable wall is completely glazed. It is located in the garden of Villa Sunnyside, above Pillnitz Castle. Not properly heatable, therefore only bookable in summer/autumn! When booking in September/October: There is an oil radiator, so it is still very habitable. Please bring warm clothes and thick socks and only book if you are not sensitive to the cold.

The Markthaus is a historic gem and is a listed building, designated as the first hostel in Saxon Switzerland. The house frames the market square in the reflection of the market church below the castle ruin on the romantic Malerweg. The vaulted cellar and foundation walls date back to 1527. The main house was built in 1734 and operated as a rest stop, post office and inn. In 1850, a massive extension was built in the classicist style. Röhringer ran the Hotel Sächsische Schweiz here.

A parking space on the premises is available for the FW. If you have multiple cars or vans, there are parking spaces nearby. In about 500 m are the S-Bahn station and ferry terminal, as well as the outdoor swimming pool. There are many opportunities for hikes and excursions in the area.
