Vacation home in the Westerwald Westerwald heart

We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. As a trained hotel manager, I am particularly passionate about helping people rediscover the small and great beauties of life: by spending time with themselves, with their family, or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: Our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, and pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

To the sound of the stream

The apartment is located in a quiet location in the old town center of the municipality of Greifenstein-Ulm at the foot of the Westerwald. Here you can arrive, relax in a casual atmosphere, feel comfortable and, if necessary, get out of the way in the 80 m² apartment ;-) Our geese can be observed on a separate pasture, which is especially fun for children. In winter you have the opportunity to spend cozy evenings with cozy stove heat. Wood does not have to be brought along ;-)

Ideal and spacious living in the countryside

Our apartment Rosenstein (70 square meters) in the Weilburg district of Kubach is located in a quiet residential area. It offers a parking space and a storage space for bicycles. The apartment has a separate entrance as well as a spacious terrace and fast Wi-Fi. The kitchen is equipped with a ceramic stovetop, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. The shopping is very good, as bakers, supermarkets, a drugstore and a fast food restaurant are only a few hundred meters away.

THE small HUT - hiking. biking. experience nature.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Pure relaxation with the family, on a business trip or just for a break in the countryside. Located directly on the field/forest edge. From here you can directly access many hiking trails. Close to Weilburg an der Lahn with boat rentals, the picturesque castle and the unique ship tunnel. 5-minute walk to the village community house Löhnberger Lilie. A barrel sauna can be booked for an extra charge of €50 per day, on request and subject to availability.

Welcome to your cozy home with a fantastic view in the middle of Weilburg! The idyllic house offers a kitchen, a bathroom and a living room with sofa bed and balcony🏡🌄. The expansive outdoor areas invite you to relax. 🌿☀️ A loving goat enclosure awaits you just a few steps away – peting and feeding explicitly allowed! 🐐❤️ The large swimming pond with seating and reclining facilities provides cooling. 🏊‍♂️🌞 I look forward to your visit! 😊

Relax in our mountain vacation home with an idyllic location, large garden and northwest balcony for breathtaking sunsets. Explore the surroundings with their hiking trails and swimming lakes. Up to 4 people can be accommodated in the cozy house and benefit from a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The upper bedroom is designed as a loft. Experience the beauty of nature and leave everyday stress behind!

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

Forest apartment, tranquility, animal-loving, good air, nature

Beautiful apartment in the Westerwald, 37 m², right on the edge of the forest, in the middle of the countryside, 500 meters from the swimming lake (Waldsee). For two people (two beds), if necessary also an extra bed for a child is provided. Our completely newly furnished apartment is equipped with a modern, comfortable kitchen with all the necessary appliances, so you can take good care of yourself.

Charming, small guest house with terrace.

For short breaks (cyclists/boaters) who want to stay one or two nights at short notice. Simple equipment, single kitchen, shower and toilet on the first floor, upstairs bedroom with double bed. A roll mattress can be used for children. No TV, no closet. Located one street from the Lahn. Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located place.

Das in 2022 erbaute Cottage verbindet anspruchsvolle Architektur- und Einrichtungsstandards mit Komfort und Behaglichkeit. Das romantische Ferienhaus zur Alleinnutzung bietet bis zu 4 Gästen eine Wohnfläche von 115qm sowie eine umlaufende Terrasse von ca. 65qm, die mit ihrer Süd-West-Ausrichtung das Genießen von vielen Sonnenstunden ermöglicht.
