Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Loire Valley

2 nights on weekdays close to Beauval Zoo. Damien was not present on site but the exchanges were fluid and fast. The little house is exactly as advertised and the pool is a real plus. Please note, the staircase to access the room is very steep and I do not recommend it for people with mobility difficulties. Note the possibility of sleeping on the ground floor if necessary, with a sofa bed.

We highly recommend the house. The kitchen is well equipped, the house is spacious and you feel comfortable. The garden is very shady, which was perfect in the heat. Unfortunately, the street noise is a bit annoying, and the beautiful large trees cannot quite reduce it. For it was still a perfect place. William is also very friendly and helpful!

Le Cocon is a fantastic property in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The house itself provided everything we needed and was so cosy. I would recommend staying here in a heartbeat and would love to return. A real haven in the French countryside. The gardens, maze and Shetland ponies were a real highlight. Thomas was a brilliant host and was very responsive to any questions we had.

This beautiful cottage is out in the middle of the country with birdsong during the day and quiet nights. It’s still in between many major destinations in the Loire Valley. Central location with lots of good grocery stores and we made lots of our meals at the cottage. For those wanting to eat out there are lots of great restaurants within 30 minutes. The cottage was even cuter in person. The bed was firm but cozy. Bathroom was large with a great shower. You have a private patio overlooking beautiful fields, which we enjoyed in the afternoons and for watching sunsets. The pool is a shared space. When you are using it, you won’t see the hosts or feel intruded upon. They make use of it in the mornings and later in evening when you’re not using it. Karen is available for suggestions or to help you with your itinerary and she is a very nice person. You’ll enjoy this beautiful retreat!

Very well-located and well-maintained accommodation. The bedding is of very good quality. The neighborhood is very quiet. In short, a perfect accommodation for a pleasant stay in Villandry.

Patrice and Christel are lovely hosts. Patrice showed us his old restored wood oven, shared his passion for plants and his beginnings as a beekeeper. We were also able to taste the cherries. The house is as described. We were able to enjoy the private area of the garden overlooking the countryside. Ideal for those looking for a little tranquility after visiting the Loire castles all day. We recommend it without hesitation.

Very good accommodation for visiting Blois, the Loire castles and the surroundings. It is well located (close to the center) with many shops and restaurants. We appreciate Catherine's recommendations (cheese shop, restaurants). We recommend it.

4 days as a family in this wonderful gite in the red house. The accommodation is very spacious and has a lot of character (classified house), ideally located for walking around Chinon and shining in the area. There are all the necessary amenities, the bedding is comfortable and the apartment tastefully decorated. Thanks to Nathalie and Vincent for their warm welcome and good advice, we'll be happy to come back!

Philippe responded quickly to my questions before we arrived, gave clear instructions and his place was easy to find. The private parking and laundry facilities were much appreciated and the garden setting was lovely. He and his wife were usually around to make sure everything was working for us and he made a reservation for us at a recommended local restaurant, which was a great experience. It was very hot while we were there for the walk into town across the bridge, but there is a local bus, with the stop right near the apartment. We stayed for a week and found Amboise to be a good base for visiting this part of the Loire Valley. We would certainly recommend Philippe's place and would stay there again ourselves if we were ever back in the area.

Apartment overlooked the river. We loved the space in the apartment, really easy walking distance to most parts of town.

La Quintessence was the perfect place to stay for a long weekend in Amboise. The apartment is spacious and comfortable, with everything you could need to use. Sophie is a great host, with a long list of great recommendations which made the weekend easy and enjoyable. I would definitely come back!

Excellent stay at Carine's, clean and functional apartment

Romain and Evelyne's apartment is really more than perfect for visiting Blois and its surroundings. The photos do not do justice to the quality of what is offered. Nothing is missing, even coffee and other utilities are in abundance. Impeccable cleanliness, modern, very comfortable bed, quiet neighborhood, you feel at home. Very well located, you can get to the Château de Blois and several sites of interest on foot in a few minutes. Secured parking is a big advantage. The nearby Intermarché is also a plus. Unfortunately, because of the temperature we were not able to enjoy the small terrace, but it is available. Recommended with eyes closed because lucky those who can stay in this apartment.

Apartment, without any neighbors opposite, matching its description, spacious and very good bedding. Its location is perfect for visiting Orléans without a car. Small but functional bathroom. We will keep this address for a possible visit to Orléans.

Best AirBnb Ever. Finally!!! Alleluiah;) An Airbnb where people have thought of all the little things, we feel at home;) Go there without a second thought. Extremely clean, convenient, great bathroom, no limit on hot water as is often the case ;) Etc etc... In summary, perfect. Have a good stay everyone ;)

Excellent accommodation for a single person and for a few days in Orleans! Close to the train station and in the city center, it's perfect for dropping off your suitcases and enjoying the city! I recommend it!
