Important: Starting mid September 2021 we will start construction/buidling work on the premise! The Garden will not be accessible during the time of construction! The apartment has a living space of approx. 90qm + gallery. It has recently been renovated in high quality. The apartment is close to public transport. The apartment is well suited for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers, families (with children) and larger groups (please inquire!). Please check the current corona rules.

Nice and calm apartment!

Recently built guesthouse on the property of an old mill. We (two families) live in the main building. Both apartments have a seperate entrance and a terrace showing to the little creek which gives it a romantic touch. The place is 10 km from Basel which can be reached by bus or train in about 30 minutes. In the village nearby you´ll find a supermarket and other stores. Good starting point to explore the Black Forrest. The mixture of nature and civilisation makes it a special place!

Close to nature & stylish living in the old farmhouse

The apartment is in the small district of Karsau, which belongs to Rheinfelden (Baden). In an almost 200-year-old farmhouse overlooking our farm animals (horses/sheep/cat/dog/chickens) you can relax wonderfully. Basel can be reached in 20 minutes by car/train. Beuggen train station is within walking distance (1.5 km). Right next door is a children's playground and the forest with beautiful walking and cycling trails is a few minutes' walk away. Alte Färberei Entire place

The old dye works, a factory from the 19th century. century, was expanded for mixed use. In addition to apartments, workshops and a doctor's office, guest rooms were created under the shed roofs of the factory halls. It was important to us to give the old building fabric a new use and to make it tangible. We were able to completely preserve the building shell and reuse renewed components in a different context. New components were left natural.

After decades of neglect, it has been given a new shine piece by piece in recent years with loving attention to detail. We want to offer vacationers, business travelers and travelers looking for a last stop before or after the Swiss border an uncomplicated and pleasant stay.

Beautiful bright 2-room Sous Terrain apartment in a quiet area. 15-20 min walk to the train station. By car, it's about 15 minutes to Basel, 40 minutes to Freiburg. There is a small terrace in the garden for shared use. Coffee - pod machine and coffee pods are available, washing machine on request for shared use.
