place fitted all of our needs we brought pur two dogs my wife and my self and our 4 month old. suited us for my work out of town.

Audrey was an amazing host & her house was cozy! The house itself had plenty of things to do inside & outside of it but was also in the center of many different places to visit. Furthest we drove to go somewhere was 15 minutes. Would 10/10 recommend Audrey as a host & her home as a place to stay!

We had a great stay while visiting my daughter and grandkids for their birthdays. The place was clean, matched the listing, and was in a quiet, nice neighborhood. The host was friendly and easy to communicate with. We especially appreciated the fire pit, BBQ, and pool table since we planned to stay in most of the time. Fast Wi-Fi and TVs in all the bedrooms were a plus. Checkout was at 10:00 a.m., which felt a little early for us as we like to leave things tidy. The couches were fine for short visits, but if you're planning to spend most of your time hanging out at the house like we did, a little more comfort would’ve made it even better. It might also be a nice touch to include a small bundle of firewood for guests using the fire pit, though we were able to grab some easily nearby. Overall, a positive experience and a great spot for a family-focused stay!

This was our second time staying here and everything was awesome! Great place to come home to at the end of the day and have everything you need for a comfortable stay. It was a really hot weekend, but no worries, the air conditioning worked great! We especially enjoy the quiet neighborhood!

Great place by the lake. Close to Chicago for a day trip and great restaurants nearby. The home was well equipped with what we needed and the hot tub was a perfect temperature for the chilly evenings. Zan was a responsive host and we had no issues throughout our stay. The beds and couches were comfy and clean. Would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed our weekend at this lovely house while we were in town for the Rockford 1/2 Ironman. It was just a short drive to the race and great to come back to this cozy, beautifully decorated house with a stunning view of the River. We drank our coffee and watched the sunrise each morning. Matthew, the host was always available for any questions. We would absolutely stay here again!

The esthetics, kitchen, and family friendly environment was amazing! We were there to host our Uncle Terry's 80'th BD surprise party. For us, the location was perfect. Downtown DeKalb and Barb's City Bagels made or a perfect departure breakfast. We were there for just a weekend, (2+6) and it was VERY comfortable, perhaps Luxe! The host has a great eye for decor, and the outside garden areas were very welcoming.

My family stayed at Ruth’s place for two weeks and we felt right at home. The place was clean, smelled great and was supplied with cooking utensils, pots, pans and towels/linens. Miss Ruth even took it upon herself to offer new linens and towels at our preference, which was extremely appreciated!! The bathroom is equipped with mood lighting and really set the mood for the jacuzzi tub in the bathroom! Excellent stay, truly exceeded our expectations. We were satisfied with the accommodations and will look to stay again if we are in the area. Thank you so much Ruth!!

Good central location, convenient to several local restaurants and eateries. Comfortable furniture and a spacious shower.

We were guests at a wedding at Geneva National and this was a convenient location. Amy was very responsive and the newly renovated place was perfect!

We had a great time and Jackie was very responsive to help with any questions or concerns. It’s a little further from clubhouse, pool and beach but having the golf cart was clutch. We would stay there again! Thanks Jackie!

Had a great stay. Place was comfortable and had all amenities. Parking was easy, directly in front of airbnb. Cozy and felt welcoming, fans worked and even had a large portable ac unit in one of the bedrooms which was great for me as I love a cold room for sleeping. Linens were clean and extra towels were available. Don’t be dismayed at smell of wood at beginning, run the a/c and it goes away no issue. Most importantly its no smoking which I can smell when someone has smoked in a room and there was no scent of that. Its an old building so you do hear creaking and footsteps but honestly that didn’t bother me. I would book this place again, it was very comfortable.

Lashona’s place was so cute and cozy! Nice size kitchen to cook in. Her place is right downtown so it was in walking distance to everything. So many good restaurants to eat at. Everything was great with our stay. The only complaints I had was there were no hangers, toaster or a broom to sweep the floors during our stay. My suggestion for the owner is to provide hangers for guests to hang their clothes up, especially for people who fly in and don’t pack hangers. Also a toaster and a broom so guests can keep up with the daily cleaning. (I’m a neat freak) lol Other than that, her place is perfect and I think you would be very happy staying at her place. Lashona is so very sweet and accommodating. I can’t say enough nice things about her. I will definitely book with her again. 🩷

Very easy and great place, we needed a few extra days, had no issues, would highly recommend.

This property worked out perfectly for us. It was clean, the kitchen was well stocked, and it was just as described. We came with our bicycles and the local bike shop has routes published that either come right past the property or can easily be accessed from the front door. Lake Geneva is an easy 4 mile ride and you can extend from there. The Lake Geneva Shore Path is a short walk south…we went east and the houses and gardens along the lake are impressive. So the location of this Airbnb was ideal!

We were lucky to find Amy's place as many only book two-night minimum and we were only in town for one. Her condo was clean and comfortable. We entered on a hot day to a well-air-conditioned home and to jazz music playing. It was such a great way to start our stay. She gave recommendations for the area and had very few requests for checkout - just take trash and start the dishwasher. We three women took a late-night walk in the area and felt perfectly safe. Be aware that check-out is 10AM while most places are 11:00. It was fine with us as we were getting on the road by then but some would care. I don't know if there's any flexibility as it didn't matter. Amy was very proactive about ensuring we were all settled in and asked if there were questions. We had a great stay and recommend Amy's condo.

This was one of our favorite airbnbs of all time. The decor is adorable, it was stocked with everything needed and the use of space is so smart and functional. We also really appreciated how clean everything was and that the beds were super comfortable. The AC started acting funky at 9 pm on a Friday night and the host replied within a few minutes and someone out there first thing the next morning. Our family also loved the delicious ice cream downstairs and had it each night. All in all, this one’s a winner!

Lively apartment, beautiful area, attentive host. Place was clean and spacious. We enjoyed our stay. Could hear the neighbors from upstairs. Didn’t bother me, but if you are not used to having neighbors it can be distracting.

Had a wonderful time here for my sister’s bachelorette party. The town home was beautiful and newly renovated. We had an amazing time at the nearby pool and other attractions close by. Overall great stay!

Just minutes from the lake and downtown, we were able to enjoy charming local shops, great restaurants, and stunning lakeside views without needing to drive far. Our host was outstanding—friendly, responsive, and truly committed to making our stay comfortable. They provided excellent local recommendations and made sure we had everything we needed. Cheryl's condo made for delightful anniversary weekend. Of the few Airbnbs my wife and I have stayed in, Cheryl's was hands down the nicest and most intuitive stay. The furnishings were gorgeous and her hospitality was very much appreciated.

I would give 10 stars if I could. I have been using AirBnB for many years, and our experience with Vida’s Villa 33B is hands down probably the best we have ever experienced. She is very responsive and helped us get an extra hair dryer. The unit looks newly remodeled, and had many thoughtful amenities, from tea and K-cups to a clothes steamer and hair curling iron. We were there for a family wedding from a few states away, and I’m a little sad we probably won’t have a reason to visit again. I highly recommend Vida’s Villa B if you are visiting the Abbey Resort.
