Condo holiday rentals in Lower Garden District, New Orleans

We had a great time at the Balcony House! The location was great for access to many areas in New Orleans. Transportation was easy to find and the neighborhood felt safe.

We enjoyed our stay! Great proximity to Bourbon St and the parades while being far enough from the chaos to enjoy a good night’s sleep. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a great location and are not looking to stay directly on Bourbon St.

Spent full week in this beautiful condo with great AC right next to Forbidden Pizza which is truly excellent (I’m from NYC), Batter bakery across street and a big grocery store less than a block away. If you like crystals must visit Selah. It’s 6 mins away and a beautiful shop with knowledgeable and friendly store owners. Also, it’s a 15-20 min walk to French Quarter so close to action but not in it all day. Brittanie is a great host and communicator! Only minor issue is internet to smart TV’s can sometimes be glitchy so have to reconnect to internet often, and sometimes can hear music from Bistro below. However, I will definitely return again when in New Orleans.

This was by far the best property I have ever stayed in. Close to a lot of restaurants and grocery stores.

David was a wonderful host! The picture and amenities were just as described. The location is an A+ if you are planning to do things in different parts of town. It is perfectly located in walking distance to the French Quarter, the WWII museum, Magazine Street and the street car to the Garden District. The apartment/condo building is new, quiet and has a 24hour front desk security person. The building was super quiet and the bedroom was spacious and very clean. There many places within a few blocks to eat and we never waited longer than 2 minutes for an Uber. This is not a loud part of town. I would highly recommend both David and this location if you want new, clean and centrally located!

After our original Airbnb booking cancelled two days before our stay during the very popular Jazz Fest, we heard about Bryan’s place. Without much research we booked and Steve glad we did. Bryan answered our many frenzied questions quickly and completely. We asked for, and did not expect, an early check-in which was accommodated. The space is gorgeous and perfect for two couples. Many 4-person accommodations have adequate sleeping but the living space is cramped. This condo had incredible common spaces including a dining area, huge, well-appointed kitchen and a lovely sitting area with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Tchoupitoulas. There was a unit above us and we *think* it was occupied but you could hardly hear anything but a few footsteps once in awhile. We will definitely book this condo again.

Very nice apartment close to French Quarter but far enough away to escape the crowds. Comfortable, quiet and clean. Bed was very comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped and clean. Definitely would stay here again.

We had an amazing time staying here. The place is actually way bigger than it seems in all the pictures. It is also walking distance to amazing restaurants and bars. Highly recommend staying here!

great place to stay if you are visiting NOLA. Off street parking as well as plenty of street parking. 15 minute walk to Charles St, streetcar. if you dont want to walk, 3 minute drive to the stop with lots of street parking. close to the highway(10) if you are going to plantations or swamp tours and back to the airport. Super comfy beds. we loved our stay!!!!!

I really enjoyed the place. It was very comfy and felt like home. The location was perfect and made my birthday vacation even better. It was super close to everything but yet quiet enough. We truly had a wonderful time! The place was great and very comfortable. It was beautiful! There was so much within walking distance, including the mall. We were in a good location and within 15-20 minutes to downtown New Orleans and the airport. Our family of 4 appreciated having their own bedrooms and bathrooms as well. It was hard to tell from the picture what was surrounding the location, but there is plenty to do and great restaurants near-by. It was just an all-around great place for our stay. If we are back in the area, this would be our home away from home!!

Very convenient location and very safe, walkable neighborhood. Located above a bakery, and on the same block as a tapas restaurant and the best ice cream spot in New Orleans. We’re moving cross country so it wasn’t ideal carrying a lot of heavy luggage up the stairs, but if we were traveling light like we normally do, it would be no big deal. Lots of natural light in the apartment and cozy decor. Our host was friendly and very responsive! And our favorite thing about this place was the location! Thank you!

Such a perfect spot for our weekend trip to New Orleans! The location was great on a nice quiet side street just steps from Magazine Street. The house was so charming and had plenty of room. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch in between our New Orleans adventures. The hosts were super responsive and helpful. Highly recommended for anyone planning a trip to NOLA.

This place is AMAZING. I’ve never stayed in a more beautiful Airbnb. The kitchen is awesome, the bed is so comfortable, and there is a wonderful view on the balcony. The space is very contemporary and feels luxurious which is exactly what I love! Lilly was our host and she was amazing! She’s very thorough with explaining where everything is and how everything works. My husband and I walked just about everywhere because it’s walking distance. Great location. I highly recommend staying here!

The space was great, exactly as promised. Location is absolutely perfect to experience the French Quarter. Walking distance to street car and bus lines for easy transportation to other places in the city. The space was very clean and had every amenity we could have wanted. One bedroom is street side and can be a bit loud at times but the other room is secluded in the interior and was plenty quiet to rest up. It is a heavy nightlife area so asking for total silence is not realistic, but for the location it was much quieter than we were expecting. Overall a great stay as long as you understand your location and the reality of the area being very busy and pretty loud. Would 100% recommend this stay to anyone looking to experience bourbon street and the surrounding area.

Had a great experience and stay with Heirloom. Very responsive host! The space was great and accommodated our large group perfectly. The pool and bbq area was a great space and the big open couch area was perfect for big family movie time! The beds we unexpectedly comfortable which was a great surprise after long days in NOLA! Would highly recommend! Thanks for a great stay.

Great Airbnb, really close to all the main attractions/walking distance, super spacious (honestly, we feel like the pictures didn’t do it justice. It’s actually much bigger when you get there), and really convenient overall. Only issue was considering it’s in a very populated and busy area, it does get really loud so you can hear everything, pleasure something to consider, but still would absolutely recommend this Airbnb and would definitely stay in it again. Also, it’s conveniently located next to a baggage storage place so while we waited to check in, we were able to put our bags right next-door.

Great stay overall - the place is super close to the center attractions and quite walkable. The host was very responsive and immediately reacted to anything we needed. We were offered early check in for an additional fee which was lovely - and we took advantage of it- Overall awesome!

10/10 Highly Recommend ! This was my boyfriend’s and I second time staying here. Everything is as pictured and the hosts are very responsive. I’m already thinking about coming back the end of June. Thanks for everything and providing a home away from home.

This was a great place to stay, though it was pretty bare bones in the kitchen and as far as furniture goes. Never did find bedding for the pull out couch and the tv didn’t work but the host tried to help with both of those issues. Location for ease of the streetcar was great!
