Heather Cottage is a cosy, yet spacious self catering home with fantastic views over Loch Portree and the iconic Storr pinnacle for a backdrop. Situated less than 10 minutes' drive from Portree in the centre of the island, the cottage provides the ideal base from which to explore Skye. The newly refurbished home has three comfortable bedrooms, two spacious lounge areas, a large bathroom with freestanding bath and fully fitted kitchen with dining area - the perfect place for a memorable visit!

Heatherfield house self catering cabin The Shack

The Shack is a cosy cabin for two that has recently been refurbished to a high standard. Situated in Penifiler, a 10 minute drive from Portree, and close to the shore it has stunning views over Loch Portree. Centrally located on the island, it is an ideal spot to be based. It has a comfortable open plan living room with well equipped kitchen and double, en-suite bedroom. Outside there is a private seating area where, if the weather is behaving, you will be able to see the Old Man of Storr.

The Crofter's House, Isle of Skye

The Crofter's House is a traditional Scottish croft house that has been renovated to create a calm and peaceful retreat in the wild landscape of the Isle of Skye. Situated beside Camustianavaig Bay, the house enjoys a rural location, yet is only five miles from Portree. The house has been featured in a number of publications including Elle Decoration, Conde Nast Traveller, Time Out, and Homes & Interiors Scotland. NB: the five-mile road to Camustianavaig is a single track (tarmac) road.

For information, croft noise such as dogs, cats, machinery and children playing can be heard at times.

The Talisker Distillery is a 20 min drive away. Skye View Cottage has a garden and barbecue facilities. The cottage consists of 2 bedrooms/sofa bed, a living room and a shower with a hairdryer and free toiletries. The Skye View Cottage offer a fully equipped kitchen with a washing machine, dishwasher/microwave.
