Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Lugano

Wir hatten einen tollen Aufenthalt auf dem wunderschönen Hof von Daniela und ihrer Familie. Das Appartement war sehr schön eingerichtet und alles war sehr sauber. Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen und haben die besondere Umgebung genossen. Der Hof wird liebevoll von der Familie bewirtschaftet. Unser kleiner Sohn hat die beiden Hunde geliebt und mit Begeisterung die Blaubeeren auf dem Feld gepflückt. Es war rundum perfekt und wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wow. One of the best air bnbs that we have ever stayed in. The place is even better than the photos. The outside space is private with an amazing view of the lake. Laglio was a perfect place for us, quiet and authentic. We took the bus and ferries to get around as we were without a car. As long as you are organised and ready for a busy bus it’s completely doable without a car. Nico’s food recommendations were all excellent. Our favourite place was the family butchers / cafe close to the apartment. We went there nearly every day for drinks, steak, meats and cheese. We also cooked some basic meals at the apartment which we recommend as it’s a lovely space. Nico and Wendy were amazing hosts, so helpful, responsive and accommodating. Thoroughly recommend this place and we are already looking at their other properties for another holiday! Book now ☺️

Die Casa Sarina ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen und hat einen traumhaften Blick über den Luganer See. Im Dörfchen Carona gibt es einen kleinen Kiosk, der alles für den täglichen Bedarf zur Verfügung stellt. Für größere Einkäufe muss man allerdings über die Serpentinenstraße ins Tal fahren. Von der Unterkunft aus kann man entweder direkt zu Fuß loslaufen oder nach einer kurzen Fahrt mit dem Auto herrliche Spaziergänge durch Vico Morcote bis nach Morcote bzw. auf den Monte San Salvatore machen. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber und wie durch den Vermieter beschrieben. Markus und Anna sind sehr liebevolle Gastgeber und haben uns mit vielen Tipps den Aufenthalt bereichert. Wir würden jederzeit wieder diese Unterkuft wählen.

This home is incredible. The view is stunning. But it is a decent hike up to the house. If you come by ferry it would take 30 mins from terminal to get to the home with many steps. Very challenging with a heavy suitcase. If you come by car it will take approximately 10-15 mins. Lots of stairs. Pack light if you’re able to. The home itself is over 3 levels by a spiral staircase. Bring light luggage if possible. The deck is so nice to spend time on. Lovely, memorable home with a friendly helpful host. Will never forget this beautiful place

Wir (zwei Familien, vier Kinder), haben uns bei Bruno sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist komfortabel und funktional eingerichtet. Einzig etwas umständlich: Es gibt nur ein WC im UG, das über eine relativ steile Treppe zu erreichen ist. Sonst: schöne, ruhige Umgebung, toller Spielplatz in der Nähe, Wald, Bach. Schöne Veranda. Und Lugano ist mit öV und Auto schnell zu erreichen. Die Kommunikation mit Bruno war stets freundlich, er sehr hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Können einen Aufenthalt bei ihm sehr empfehlen.

Een heerlijk huisje in een authentiek dorp. We hebben genoten van het prachtige uitzicht vanaf het terras op de lekkere bank, heerlijk geslapen op de goede bedden (ook de sofabank) en de regendouche was ook super. Het contact met Kathi en Ivan was zowel snel als heel vriendelijk, gebruik vooral hun reisgids want daar staan hele goede aanbevelingen in. Pognana is een pareltje, je kunt mooie wandelingen maken naaf boven en op het 'strand' beneden zit je in no time. Bar Sonia boven is heel goed en gezellig, je bent er zo een vaste klant. Ook Marvin, onze hond, heeft genoten, er was nog een verrassing voor hem bij aankomst, heel lief! Je zit heerlijk privé in het huisje, soms hoor je de bovenburen, maar dat was niet storend. Van Bar Sonia hoor je overigens niets. Heel erg bedankt dat we mochten blijven en hopelijk tot ziens!

I had a great stay! The room was very clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. The bed was cozy and the space felt peaceful and well-maintained. It was also nice and bright during the day. I’d definitely stay here again!

Beatrice è una host molto cordiale e attenta, ci ha accolti calorosamente mostrandoci l'appartamento, che era molto pulito e ordinato. In cucina c'è tutto il necessario e anche alcuni prodotti alimentari disponibili da acquistare, comodo se si vuole bere qualcosa senza aver fatto la spesa. La casa è in una posizione perfetta, immersa in un giardino mediterraneo, con la vista su Lugano. La perla è stata lo spazio con tavolo e sedie sotto agli alberi, ottimo per una cena al fresco. Ci ritornerò e non esiterò a consigliarlo, grazie Beatrice!

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Lugano. Die Unterkunft und der Garten haben und sehr gefallen. Roberto und Lisa gaben uns immer schnell Antwort und waren sehr hilfsbereit 🤗

This Airbnb was beyond gorgeous.. The views were just absolutely breathtaking and it was nice to be on the local side of Lake Como.. our host made great recommendations.. and we really enjoyed sitting out on the terrace. Our host was absolutely so kind and we really enjoyed meeting her.. thank you for being flexible and just a great host. We would definitely will be back.

Diese Wohnung ist einfach fantastisch. Da hat sich jemand wirklich was überlegt. Unschlagbare Aussicht auf jede Seite. Sehr gross und geräumig. Wir haben uns super wohl gefühlt. Eines der besten AirBnB dass wir je hatten! Vielen Dank für alles

Anna e Pippo sono stati due host strepitosi, professionali e amichevoli. Fin da subito ci hanno messo a nostro agio dandoci tutte le informazioni essenziali sulla casa e sul suo giardino VISTALAGO! Ma oltre a questo, ci hanno subito fatto sentire parte del luogo dandoci aneddoti e cenni storici sulla località, sulla sua vita e sulla casa: si sente che fanno col cuore un lavoro che amano! Che dire della casa? Immersa in un borghetto che ti sembra di essere un abitante del lago da anni, varchi la soglia e ti trovi in una chicca di gusto e qualità architettonica innegabili, col sasso a vista, le luci ricercate, i materiali tipici... tutto perfetto! Ci siamo sentiti a nostro agio fin da subito in un'atmosfera unica. Come se non bastasse, il giardino terrazzato sul retro della casa ci ha stesi: una vista mozzafiato sul lago che ci siamo goduti a colazione, all'ora dell'aperitivo e a notte fonda con... le lucciole! In un silenzio e pace totali! Non avremmo potuto chiede di +!

Eine wunderbare, total ruhig gelegene und gemütliche Wohnung mit der sympathischsten Gastgeberin dieser Welt. Die Unterkunft ist einfach einmalig, sehr stilvoll eingerichtet, zentral gelegen und trotzdem sehr privat. Wir wurde persönlich empfangen, hatten eine Flasche Wasser als Begrüßung und paar gute Tipps erhalten. Das italienische Frühstück mit dem selbstgebackenen Brot war zauberhaft und ließ keine Wünsche offen. Der zubuchbarer Parkplatz ist Gold wert und einfach zu empfehlen. Danke für die schöne Zeit! Wir würden gerne wiederkommen.

Wonderful stay, highly recommend! Amazing views of the lake and mountains. It is high up on the hill from the “center” but a quick and easy bus ride to wherever you need to go! The place itself was clean and comfortable, and Michele greeted us and told us a bit about things as we checked in. Go for it!

We spent a long weekend at Davide's studio and cannot rave enough about the views, the location and the studio itself. The views of Lake Como are spectacular and we were lucky enough to have front row seats to 3 fireworks shows while there. The location is very conveniently located right by the ferry and near a market, a bar, and a few restaurants. Finally, the studio itself was perfect for two...so well appointed - we had everything we needed!

Wunderschöne Aussicht und saubere Wohnung. Die Kommunikation mit Raffaela war super, sie hat uns auch gute Tipps gegeben. Gute Verbindungen mit dem Bus ins Zentrum von Lugano. Die Better sind sehr bequem. Einzig negativ war der Geruch nach Rauch in der Wohnung.

Alessandra a été proactive et nous a bien conseillé. Son appartement est très propre et bien rangé. Il offre tout ce qu’il faut pour un séjour, même prolongé (cuisine, terrasse, etc). L’endroit est très calme. Il préférable d’avoir son propre véhicule mais les transports publics sont aussi possible pour aller directement à Lugano ou Bellinzona. Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit pour un séjour au Tessin. Merci Alessandra!

Best way to describe this location is STUNNING! The views are breath taking - more beautiful in person than the photos! We loved our stay - hard to beat having morning coffee & evening wine surrounded by such beauty! The night view when the lights appear is as beautiful as the day view! A car was necessary but well worth it. David was a very responsive and helpful host & we would definitely stay again if we have that opportunity!

Die Unterkunft ist sehr gut gelegen und liebvoll eingerichtet. Ideal für Familien mit Kindern! Die Kommunikation war einfach und unkompliziert. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Wir hatten sehr erholsame Tage bei Katrin, die uns sehr herzlich willkommen geheißen hat. Die Wohnung war sehr sauber und der Ausblick zum See wunderschön! Man ist umgeben von einem schönen grünen Garten, bei dem wir uns sogar an den frischen Kräutern bedienen durften. Auch die Möglichkeit, die zwei SUPs auszuleihen, um auf dem Lago zu paddeln hat uns sehr gefallen. Wir kommen gerne wieder 🥰

Die Kommunikation auch schon im Vorfeld war sehr freundlich und die Anreise war somit einfach und entspannt. Wir wurden, als wir ankamen, ganz herzlich in Empfang genommen. Die Wohnung ist toll und wir fühlten uns sofort sehr wohl. Es ist alles durchdacht und fehlt an Nichts. Das habe ich bisher selten erlebt. Wir kommen sehr gern wieder und ich kann diesen Ort zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Nous avons passé 4 nuits dans un endroit absolument idéal pour se reposer. Le cadre est très calme, avec une magnifique vue sur le lac parfait pour déconnecter. Nous avions un logement avec une cuisine extérieure, ce qui était vraiment super agréable pour profiter pleinement de l’environnement. La chambre était très bien, confortable et propre. Le lieu est aussi parfaitement adapté pour un séjour avec un petit enfant : il y a un bac à sable, une balançoire, quelques jouets sur place, une chaise haute, un lit bébé… même des jeux de société pour les soirées en famille. Les propriétaires sont adorables, avec plein de petites attentions qui font la différence : à notre arrivée, des fruits frais, des yaourts, des bières… Et pour ceux qui aiment leur tranquillité, pas d’inquiétude, on ne les a presque pas vus Le seul petit point d’amélioration selon moi serait l’ajout d’une petite piscine ce serait vraiment la cerise sur le gâteau. Mais sinon, tout était top, un vrai petit coin de paradis

This was truly one of the best airbnb experiences I have had. The location was perfect for us to reach the airport at the end of our trip and Chu Yi was even kind enough to drive us to the train station. Overall, I would 100% recommend this airbnb to anyone in the future!
