Architect-designed nature cabin by idyllic water

Expanded/renovated cabin in a lovely spot in the south of Norway. You have to row across a small body of water to get to the cabin, or walk through the forest (700 meters). Here you can swim, fish for trout in the water or be lucky to see ospreys gliding over the water. There are eagle's nests not far from the cabin. Simply a magical place on the waterfront. The sleeping areas have windows so you can look out into the nature when you are lying in bed. Relaxation guaranteed! We are considering renting out to well-behaved people for a few weekends a year and a few weeks in the summer.

The cabin is located in scenic surroundings with the forest right outside the door. Here you can enjoy the silence and hear the rustling of the trees and the birds chirping. Proximity to Kvåsfossen with possibility for wild trout fishing. Amazing hiking opportunities summer and winter. Warm yourself on a campfire pan on the mountain outside the cabin. Terraces around large parts of the cabin for those who love to relax in the sun chair. About 20 minutes by car is Lyngdal which can offer shopping/restaurants and not least Sørlandsbadet. 30 min from the ski resort.

Unique cabin with fjord views and private berth

Recharge your batteries at this unique and quiet accommodation. Morning coffee can be enjoyed both inside and outside with the same feeling of proximity to nature. Large windows overlooking the Spindsfjord and high ceilings bring nature close. A shared jetty with its own berth can be found about 2 minutes walk down to the sea. There you can swim from the jetty. If you rent a boat, you can go straight out into a varied archipelago with good fishing opportunities. Beaches are about 15 min away towards Lista. 10 min by boat/car to the city center.

Cozy forest cabin with canoe

A cozy forest cabin among moss and ferns, where sunbeams dance between the trees. Paddle quietly between water lilies, past the beaver lodge – or stay on the deck with a coffee cup, a friend, or a book in the morning sun. Here you will find peace, birdsong and plenty of room for the little pleasures. Poor coverage (thankfully) – but Wi-Fi is available in case of need. 20 min to shops, cafes and city life, and 45 min to the zoo in Kristiansand. This is the perfect base to go around and experience, or just stay and breathe. It's your choice.

The cabin is located in a remote location with a fantastic view and good sun conditions throughout the day. Here you can really enjoy the evening sun. The cabin has a brand new kitchen from IKEA. Several great hiking trails right next to the cabin. Frisbee golf course nearby. Electric car chargers available on site. Toys and Nintendo Switch for children. Playground just 30 meters from the cabin.

Cozy cabin in a pleasant setting!

You'll have a great time at this place. Right next to the salmon river Lygna. Next to the main road. Train station Snartemo nearby. Small private beach by the river. To the National Villakssenter-Kvåsfossen: 5 km, 5 min to drive by car. Kristiansand Zoo is less than 1 hour and 24 minutes away-perfect for family excursions. With only a 20-minute drive to Lyngdal and Sørlandsbadet, you have everything within easy reach. There are good fishing opportunities in the river in the area, with a valid fishing license.

Hønsehus Nedre Snartemo Farm

You will spend the night in the immediate vicinity of Snartemobekken which is a tributary of the river Lygna where the salmon play. Nedre Snartemo is an old farm with a barn that is under restoration. On the farm there are traces of settlement from the pre-Roman Iron Age and all the way to our time. The famous Snartemo sword was found just 200 meters away - in other words, you live in the middle of history. Welcome to sunny and idyllic "Knatten" An architect-designed cabin in a secluded location by the lake with beautiful views over Egelandsfjorden with great fishing and swimming opportunities. The cabin is fully furnished and contains most of what you need to have a great stay including a Weber gas grill on the sunny terrace. 2 bedrooms in total with beds for 7 people+ (possibility of extra mattresses). Cozy annex with bedroom and master bedroom with double bed and loft bed in the cabin.

On the fire pit you can cook barbecue food or use as a cozy place on late evenings. Many nice activities in the nearby area - trips, fishing from the jetty, swimming, campfire on the nearby island. Short distance to Lyngdal, Spangereid and Lindesnes. 1 h and 15 min to the Zoo (Kristiansand).
