Patty’s Barn was a lovely stay for our family. Michelle was very friendly and helpful and we were made to feel very welcome. The place we stayed at was cosy and full of character, with great facilities for us to use on site.

We had a wonderful stay in this cottage. The setting is perfect with canal walks straight from the door. The cottage is light, spacious and beautifully decorated. The enclosed garden is very private and there was plenty of space for our dog to explore. Amy was a great host. She provided everything we needed and left us an amazing box of goodies. We would highly recommend this property and would love to stay again.

Absolutely stunning cottage. Amazing location with beautiful views. Cottage was immaculate with everything you need to make your stay comfortable. We had a lovely short stay we used the games room which is a fabulous resource. Garstang is a short drive away if you want to eat out but to be honest if you want a quiet break in beautiful surroundings this is your place. We are already looking at returning next spring 🙂

Amazing property set in stunning grounds. We had planned to go out over the weekend but never left! The weather also made it for us meaning we got full use of the private grounds, hot tub and garden furniture whilst we spotted wild hare and deer running around the attached farm fields. The views were stunning. The house was very clean, spacious and well appointed. The garden room was everybody’s favourite! The beds were comfy, the showers and bath were great. The kitchen/ dining space was perfect. The hosts were responsive and also left a welcome basket. We also had fun playing ‘Shout Out’. What a fantastic weekend our party had, it was perfect from start to finish. Thank you! ☺️

What an absolute gem Poolfoot Cottage is! My partner and I, along with our four-legged friend, recently had the pleasure of staying at this stunning barn conversion, and it exceeded all our expectations. The cottage perfectly balances rustic charm with modern comfort. The historical character of the building has been beautifully preserved while offering all the contemporary amenities you could wish for. The spacious layout provided plenty of room to relax and unwind, with every piece of furniture chosen for maximum comfort. The outdoor space is a particular highlight - the private garden is a peaceful oasis where we spent countless hours. The gentle sound of the water feature created such a serene atmosphere, and the hot tub was absolutely divine, especially during the evening hours. What really sets this place apart is the attention to detail. The barn conversion has been done so thoughtfully, preserving the historical elements while creating a cozy, welcoming space.

The lodge was beautiful, we had a lovely peaceful weekend. They also had Netflix already on the tv which was great for a cosy night in. The scenery around was beautiful and would definitely go back. The only negative was we were excited about the pizza oven but wasn’t actually able to use it.

Bank House Cottage is an exceptional cottage to stay at. Hosts Veronica and Alan were wonderful, giving local recommendations and ensuring that everything was perfect for our stay. The cottage itself is beautiful and has an interesting history. It was sparkling clean and had all the amenities you could ask for. We also availed of the Hot Tub which was luxurious and very relaxing. We would thoroughly recommend a stay at the cottage and hope to return in the future.

Derek and Kath are lovely hosts, right from arrival they were friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The cottage was very well presented and had everything we needed to have a comfortable stay. The surrounding areas are great for long walks and the location has some nice walks too! Going with our dog, he loved the big open spaces to explore and enjoyed the little stream/river at the foot of the hill. Would definitely recommend for a nice quiet location where you can go enjoy the neighboring towns and walks and then return back to the cottage for a cosy night to relax.

Absolute gem of a place, had everything to make you feel at home. Location was perfect just a few minutes walk to the beach. Helen and Alex are amazing hosts with great attention to detail to make your stay just the best ❤️

A beautifully presented and appointed house in a very convenient position for accessing the Green by the sea and the town centre. Very comfortable and well equipped.

An absolute gem! Jan was an amazing host and available for any questions or queries we had. Completely serene and just what we needed after the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Right on the door step to local friendly dog walks and beautiful scenery. The kind gestures of a birthday card and welcome basket added a complimentary special touch. The cottage was super dog friendly with everything you'd need for your four legged companions! Shall definitely be recommending to friends and family and look forward to coming back again soon! Myself partner and pooch had a lovely time at Johns property. The cottage is huge! Even found what seemed like a hidden door to the 2nd bathroom! 😁 more than enough space and all amenities! The house was clean and tidy and the gardens/bushes were all tidied during our stay ahead of the weekend! John and co were working in the garage but this was by no means an invasion on privacy. John was lovely to meet when we bumped into him :-) Thank you so much! We really enjoyed our stay

We really enjoyed staying at the coach house, located perfectly for access to Lytham and Blackpool. Big enough for 6 of us staying and with enough room for us to have had family around for dinner one evening. The accommodation itself is well kept, easy to find and Liz left clear instructions for access prior to us arriving. If you have a dog the garden is ideal for them to potter round securely. Thank you for the stay 👍🏻

The Excaliber was the perfect location for our visit. Two sets of shops are 5 minutes walk, including takeaways and convenience stores. 10-15 mins walk to the seafront, easy access by car to Blackpool or Lytham.

A fabulous 2 night stay at Swallows rest, and we could have all easily stayed for a week! Beautiful location with stunning views, so peaceful. Looking out to fields with lambs (very entertaining). A home away from home, well equipped kitchen - mum managed to cook a roast on the day we arrived - lamb (awful choice on our part considering our field neighbours!), comfy sofas and even comfier beds! The accomodation was spotless and pristine! We were staying for a wedding and Emma was kind enough to recommend a local hair salon, which we then booked. A full length mirror would be my only suggestion but this was only so we could check our wedding outfits! Would recommend a stay here, a great base for exploring. Thank you Emma and family :)

The Stables is a fantastic little place and Linda is a wonderful host. Linda is friendly, communicative and very helpful beforehand. When we arrived, Linda was on hand to show us around and explain where everything was. There was even a little pot of amazing home-made jam. The cottage is immaculate with an amazing garden. All surrounded by beautiful countryside to watch from the garden. Watch the hares play in the field while the sheep graze and storks fly overhead. There's a great pub just over the road, called...The Stork. Wander past that and you can find great walks to Lancaster or Glasson Docks. This was a wonderful find for us and we'll definitely be back.

Such a lovely wee place in an equally lovely part of the country. Would happily look it up if I planned to return to the area and would also happily recommend it to others. We (4 adults) stayed for 2 nights and we never felt like we were in each others way. We used the stay as a base for a recent concert at Anfield, transport into Liverpool was easy, we used Merseyrail from Ormskirk. We also chose here to have the calmness of the country to chill too. Thanks again!

We had such a lovely stay in the cottage, it is very homely and fits it perfectly with the surrounding farm. The beds are VERY comfortable and kitchen had everything we needed. We did lots of walking from the cottage, and also went out in the car to explore further - there are no local facilities local without getting in the car. Nicola (farmer) and coworker were lovely and friendly. Only downside (very slight) is very bumpy lane getting to cottage. Thank you for a great stay.

What a beautiful cottage! It retains all the charm of its long history, while offering up-to-the-minute amenities. The kitchen and bathrooms are modern and pristine, with fresh white linens, and everything you need and more to begin your stay. Behind the house is a private garden and terrace, overlooking miles of fields and trees. We found peace and tranquillity here.

A delightful cottage in a beautiful location. Kathryn was a wonderful host, giving clear instructions and a warm welcome. The views over the garden and countryside beyond were stunning. It was a very quiet area with lots of wildlife and quiet spaces to sit and relax both at the front and rear of the house. The cottage was beautifully decorated and very homely. There were plenty of fresh towels and high quality bed linen, and everywhere was spotlessly clean. The TV was great with good internet speed. The kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed to cook each evening. The welcome bottle of wine and chocolates were a wonderful surprise as was the milk and bottled water. It was good value for money and we will definitely be returning.

Holly Cottage was perfect for our short stay in Lancashire to visit family. Super close to Lancaster and Garstang as well as easy access to the motorway. Our golden retriever loved the garden which is ideal if you have a dog in tow due to it being secure.
