Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Madison Heights

In town from out of state for a wedding. We were able to stay here with cousins that we had not gotten to spend time with in many years. Great home in a good location, several restaurants nearby. We especially loved the outdoor seating area in the backyard - which we were lucky enough to have beautiful weather. Beds were super comfy, more than enough towels for all of us to shower, one of the cleanest airbnbs I’ve been to, and plenty of space. Home was big enough for the 7 of us without being on top of each other. Made memories in Justin’s place and we’d definitely come back and stay longer next time! Thanks for having us and allowing us to reconnect and reminisce on our time growing up together in MI!

Was visiting family and this was the perfect location, close to royal oak and ferndale and a short drive detroit and birmingham. The entire place was spotless, beds were comfortable, and check in and out was easy and stress free. Highly recommend if you need a cozy place to stay in detroit area.

Home is in a quiet neighborhood that felt safe and has a friendly neighbor that greeted us and introduced us to his dog. It has a nice large deck, but we weren't there long enough to sit out and enjoy it. We were a bit surprised that 1 of the bathrooms was in the basement, but overall the house worked well for our overnight stay after attending a concert nearby. Would definitely stay again if we get back to the area!

My group and I stayed for a couple of nights to attend a Cubs game. Kristin’s place is located in a very quiet residential neighborhood close to just about anything you could need (groceries, shopping, restaurants). It is very clean inside and as described. Access to downtown Detroit is very easy - 15 to 20 minutes maximum by car. Kristin herself was very responsive via text message when necessary. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would wholeheartedly recommend staying here. Thank you again.

Michael's place was awesome, the amenities are over the top - we didn't have time to use everything he has to offer. Our dog also loved the house - even though it's not completely fenced in, we were able to use our car to keep her up totally in the backyard.. We felt very safe and welcome in the neighborhood, very walkable and pretty. The house was situated perfectly with everything we wanted to do in the Detroit area... We will definitely stay here again, when we come back up to the Mitten state!

Great location close to restaurants, bars, and shops! The pullout couch was comfortable and provided three separate sleeping spaces.

Lovely place in Detroit. Nearby by many good restaurants and not too far from downtown. The private parking lot was a big bonus for us and the building itself felt really safe knowing how Detroit can be. The apartment looked as in pictures and had any basic needed necessities. The host is good at responding to any questions or giving recommendations. Would definitely come back or recommend it to friends.

Parking in back is tight if you have a larger car. Safe location. The place had all the kitchen amenities needed-a small stove, toaster oven, microwave, coffee maker and fridge. I saw an iron and a hairdryer but didn’t need them. The white towels were nice and clean, plus the queen bed was very soft & comfortable. The white sheets were also comfy and clean. The place is dated and has that older studio feel (I chose not to soak in the tub) yet it was very tidy and maintained. The place has character. The area is tree lined, and was quiet and walkable. We did not use the tv. It’s a good value and I would recommend for a short stay and for a business trip it was ideal. Thank you!

Michael’s place is such a hidden gem! Everything matched the descriptions and photos, the lake view was beautiful, the area was quiet and peaceful. I could truly go on and on about how nice our weekend here was. We definitely plan on coming back!

This was a great place to stay. Zoey's place had everything we needed and it was nice and tidy. I didn't really communicate much with Zoey as I used to live in the area so I knew where everything was. Would definitely stay again in the future.

I booked this stay last minute and couldn’t have been happier. Jeff was extremely accommodating—allowing me to check in early and making everything easy. The space was spotless, well-equipped, and in an excellent Midtown Detroit location. Highly recommend!

Elainea's condo was a nice size with full kitchen and our stay was peaceful and quiet. Elainea was very responsive to any questions, and I would stay again if in the area!

Our stay in the Navy Yard Condo B was great in every respect. The beds and bedrooms were comfortable, the kitchen was easy to navigate and very well equipped, and the sitting room had nice comfortable furniture. From there and the balcony we enjoyed a great view of the lovely street and river. We parked right beside the Salty Dog restaurant both nights. We walked to No Frills, to the beer store and to dinner one night. The location was perfect. The condo was halfway between our visits to Windsor and to the wineries! Jason was a responsive and attentive host. We'll be back for sure!

Had a great time, and was perfect for the few days! Alejandro’s place has everything you need for a great stay, Kitchen, lounge area along with a TV, and nice walk in shower. Highly recommend staying here while visiting Detroit!

I loved staying here. The neighborhood is quiet and safe. The market across the street is amazing!!! I felt like I could've lived here forever and been happy. Entry and exit process were both very easy. The host was accommodating and the laundry facilities in the basement were very convenient. I would definitely stay here again!
