Easy to get to everywhere from here and lovely local dog walks just across the road. This place is wonderful for dogs, even a nice spot for their beds in the utility room. Bert greeted us with a wonderful platter of cheese and biscuits and lovely fresh flowers, so kind.

What a stunning location, looking out on the sea. I spent ages looking at the birds but sadly no sight of dolphins etc. The bothy was so lovely and had everything necessary for a great stay. I hope to return. Thank you

Communications were great and Cheryl was very helpful. Accommodation was amazing and beautifully presented, with a proper home from home feel and great views over the harbour. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again, and kids didn’t want to leave.

Lovely stay, had everything we needed

Absolutely loved my stay at Brodgar Cottage. Shawn was a kind and responsive host and gave a great range of recommendations for things to do. He offered a flexible check-in due to my ferry's arrival time which was much appreciated, and came to meet me and show me around the property. The house is comfortable and has everything you need, and is in an incredible location, basically equidistant from Stromness and Kirkwall, and with key sights walkable from the house itself. The parking space for the house is right outside the front door and keeps your car neatly off the road, with a potential additional one round the back if needed. The kitchen and bathrooms are clean and everything works well, there is a washer and dryer if needed too. The television is good and the wifi is strong! I would (and probably will!) absolutely stay here again happily, and many thanks to Shawn for being a great host.

Can’t describe how beautiful the location is . The house is so beautiful and the view is breathtaking . We were welcomed by golden rays of sun and a rainbow . Sarah is the loveliest and warmest person I have ever met . She personally helped us know everything about the house. The kitchen is very well equipped. Kids room was so much fun with colourful lights , they had so much fun. Due to lack of time we couldn’t enjoy the hot tub and many more things like walking down the shore or the area. We just laid down and soaked in as much as we could. Overall this stay was amazing and definitely made our NC500 memorable.

Nice place, Great view across the bay, Great host, Place was very clean and tidy and would certainly recommend. Plenty of parking space. We certainly had a lovely week at this property.

We had a wonderful week at Kilnbarn cottage. Jackie and Dave have created a very special and exceptionally comfortable and well equipped place on the stunning Sanday shoreline, which was beyond our expectations. The perfect place to stay and enjoy the natural beauty and wildlife, including an otter, that the beautiful island of Sanday has to offer. Our beardie Stormy loved the secure garden.

Albion House in Lybster is a true jewel to rent as a holiday base whilst visiting the Scottish Highlands. A well equipped spacious property brilliantly located on the main though fare to Wick. The commination's with Sonia from the start of the booking was extremely professional and everything advertised in the booking was supplied without exception. The welcoming we received was amazing and we were apprised of the whole house on our arrival. We had 4 adults and an infant in our party and we had plenty of space within the property to enjoy this home from home for our entire stay. This property is value for money and a well kept family home with everything you would need for a short or long stay. I will personally rebook on my next visit to The highlands.

Extremely spacious and beautifully designed rooms, a unique garden, and everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. The location is ideal, we could easily reach sites in all corners of the mainland by car, and there are some interesting walks around Roseness. Rebecca was an excellent host, really friendly and thoughtful.
