Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Mainz

Mein zweiter Aufenthalt war wie der erste- super angenehm und unkompliziert! Die Wohnung bietet alles für eine angenehme Übernachtung in Wiesbaden. Ich komme gern wieder.

Das Fischerhaus in Kaub ist wunderschön und wir haben unseren Aufenthalt genossen. Dirk ist ein supernetter Gastgeber und hat uns mit vielen praktischen Informationen versorgt und uns bei der Ankunft persönlich begrüsst. Das Häuschen ist liebevoll renoviert und jeder Raum erzählt Geschichte(n). Man spürt, das jeder Gegenstand nicht ohne Grund an seinem Platz ist und das es eine Erinnerung hierzu gibt. Uns hat das unglaublich Spass gemacht, hier Zeit zu verbringen. Ein bisschen wie in einem Museum und doch hat man nicht das Gefühl sich nicht frei bewegen und im Haus leben zu können. Wir hatten Glück mit dem Wetter und konnten abends nach dem wandern den Freisitz mit einem Glas Wein geniessen. Das Rheintal ist an dieser Stelle besonders schön, die Unterkunft ist daher das ideale Basislager für Wanderungen in die Umgebung. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen !

Stephanie’s place is the prettiest and loveliest Airbnb we’ve stayed in to date. The pictures accurately represent how beautiful her home is. It’s incredibly homey, with all the touches that make it feel like you’re coming back to a home after a full day out. The view of the horse farm is so nice to observe while having breakfast in the mornings. And the backyard was lovely to have a beer in the afternoon while listening to the sounds of nature. The location was nice as it was away from the center of everything so we had a reprieve from the business of it all. It was a great location to explore so many towns in the Rhine. Stephanie’s recommendations were so helpful too (loved the winery/wine bar that’s just 5 min from the house!) I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this place. The natural lighting, the space, I could go on and on!

Wir hatten einen rundum super schönen Aufenthalt- das Haus ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, sehr sauber und ruhig gelegen. Besonders der gemütliche Innenhof mit Grillmöglichkeit war ein Highlight. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war unkompliziert und super freundlich! Absolute Empfehlung- wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Our best Airbnb to date! From booking through to departure we give it 5 *. Beautifully spacious, quiet and private house. Spotlessly clean, superbly equipped kitchen (inc a tea pot for the Brit traveller!),very comfortable large beds, excellent shower and plenty of towels.Super air filtration keeping the house cool in exceptional temps. Lots of cleaning products available. We loved the quiet private garden (at booking we thought it was shared with owners but no it’s all yours) with plenty of sunny and shady spaces.The chickens did not disturb us and we loved collecting the fresh eggs! Thanks too for the wine in the fridge (from the winery 5 min walk away- there is another one closer!) Close to bus service into Bingen. Lots of parking in the street and also on site. Owner very helpful pre arrival and throughout our stay, even allowing us an early check in. Lovely to be met in person. Without hesitation we would stay here again- the pictures simply do not do it justice. Book it now!

We had a nice experience staying at this Airbnb in Nierstein. The place was exactly as described and everything was thoughtfully arranged, making it easy to relax and feel right at home. The location was ideal for exploring the charming town, and it was just a short walk to local wineries, restaurants, and scenic views of the Rhine.

Our family of four had a truly wonderful stay at this beautiful home and would gladly return in the future! Pros: - Very modern, brand-new house - High-quality kitchen equipment (e.g., coffee machine, sharp knives, dishwasher, etc.) - Comfortable living room and bedroom furniture, including cozy beds with soft, high-quality linens - Modern bathroom with strong water pressure, plus complimentary shampoo, shower gel, and a hair dryer - Electric car charging system was a great added bonus Suggestions for improvement: - There was some noticeable dust around the house, particularly on shelves, in drawers, and in the corners. Including a vacuum cleaner (in addition to the robot cleaner, which wasn’t very effective on the second floor) would be helpful, especially for guests staying longer. That said, this is a relatively minor issue compared to many other Airbnbs we've stayed in. Overall: Highly recommend this property—an excellent stay!

Our stay was simply lovely. The house was perfect. Secluded, spacious, clean, well stocked, and having access to a washer and dryer was excellent. The place exudes charm and we could not have asked for more. Tamara was a great host. Available and responsive when needed, and allowed privacy the rest of our time. We really wished we could have stayed longer. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you!!

Die Wohnung von Sarah & Basti ist absolut top – modern, sauber und komplett ausgestattet. Wir haben uns direkt wohlgefühlt. Der Kontakt mit Sarah & Basti war sehr freundlich und Check-In super flexibel. Perfekt gelegen für einen (Fahrrad-) Urlaub in der Region. Klare Empfehlung!

Verena and Marc were absolutely wonderful. They were always available to help with anything I needed and truly made me feel at home. The place was comfortable, welcoming, and very well taken care of. If I ever return to Mainz, I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Highly recommended!

Die Wohnung ist neutral eingerichtet und sehr geschmackvoll bis in die Details (Steckdosen). Das ermöglicht einem schnell, sich ungestört wohlzufühlen, ohne über "Persönliches" von fremden Menschen zu stolpern. Fabelhaft auch, dass kein Fernsehgerät den kultivierten Eindruck des Wohnzimmers trübt.

Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen. Die Wohnung liegt nahe am Bahnhof, was für uns, die wir mit dem Zug anreisten sehr praktisch war. Die Wohnung ist sehr hell und gemütlich, es ist alles da, was man braucht und die Fotos spiegeln den Eindruck. Die Kommunikation mit Heinz und seinem Sohn war super, unkomliziert und schnell. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Slechts 1 nacht van de accomodatie mogen genieten voor doorreis. Maar appartement was schoon, grote en zachte handdoeken beschikbaar gesteld, parkeren tegenover de woning, diverse restaurants in de nabije omgeving en stadsparkje. Goed bed en ruim balkon. Al met al een fijne plek met uitzicht op de Main (en vliegtuigen van nabij gelegen luchthaven).

Ich habe mich sehr wohl und gleich wie zuhause gefühlt! Es ist alles sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Besonders ist für mich der wunderbare, alte Dielenboden! Auch die Gegend mit den schönen Pappeln ist großartig! Gerne komme ich wieder! Danke liebe Giesela!

Blitzsauberes Apartment im Souterrain. Ich habe die Gastgeber nicht kennengelernt, aber der Check-In war gut erklärt. Schnelle Busverbindung nach Mainz und Wiesbaden. Sehr ruhig gelegen mit einem schönen Park in der Nähe und der Möglichkeit, am Rhein spazieren zu gehen oder eine Bootsfahrt zu machen. Ich kann es empfehlen für alle, die tagsüber viel unterwegs sein wollen.

Wir haben die Wohnung für den Praktikumsaufenthalt unserer Tochter gebucht. Der Kontakt zu Angelika war super unkompliziert und sehr freundlich. Wie Wohnung war sehr sauber, hat eine tolle Lage, wenn man in die Innenstadt möchte und war für diese Zwecke sehr passend ausgestattet. Unsere Tochter hat sich sehr wohl gefühlt. Angelika war in der ganzen Zeit für Rückfragen und Tipps ansprechbar und man merkt deutlich, dass sie mit Leib und Seele Gastgeberin ist. Jederzeit gerne wieder!

We loved our stay at Isabel’s! The apartment is so cute and has all the kitchen appliances one could need, and the block has so many nice restaurants and cafes.

Eine wirklich schöne, ruhige und saubere Wohnung. Alles sehr geräumig und luftig. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Badezimmer und Toilette sind räumlich voneinander getrennt. Es gibt zwei Schlafzimmer mit jeweils einem Doppelbett und einem Einzelbett. Ideal also für mehrere Gäste und Familien, die flexibel ihren Urlaub am Rhein verbringen wollen. Der Fluß ist in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ein Supermarkt und der Bahnhof sind ebenfalls quasi "ums Eck". Wir haben uns dort sehr wohl gefühlt und sagen noch einmal "Danke" für die gute Zeit in Bingen.

Loved the place and the location is very nice too , close to the train station and easy to get around. Mary was lovely too and very friendly.

Wir hatten einen tollen Kurzurlaub in der Unterkunft. Die Gegend ist ruhig, die Gastgeberin super freundlich und hilfsbereit und die Unterkunft ist schön und gepflegt. Bonus: tolle, private Terasse :)

Wir waren für zwei Nächte in der Unterkunft und es war einfach super. Die Lage ist wie beschrieben, die Wohnung ein Traum. Es ist alles vorhanden in Küche und Bad. Der eingezäunte Garten war hervorragend um mit unserem Hund draußen zu sitzen und die Idylle zu genießen. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Danke Petra und Peter.

Bacharch was beautiful and our stay enhanced greatly by our stay at Ralf's airbnb. We loved admiring all the furnishings and art that Ralf has filled his home with whilst at the same time finding the space cosy and comfortable. The flat is three fights of stairs up so might not be for everyone, but we appreciated the exercise. We visited in early April and the town was quiet. Many of the restaurants were not yet open for the season. so bear that in mind if planning a trip at the same time of year. However , we did splash our on a fantastic Portuguese Fish Stew at the Rhein Hotel and really enjoyed a bottle of TonyJost Riesling from the local supermarket. The weather was very kind and we loved all the spring blossom and seeing the spring wild flowers and early butterflies amongst the vines. We took a boat trip to Bingen and visited one of the Rhein castles by train. All in all a great few days. If you get the chance rest up on one of the wooden loungers down by the river's edge

Bei Tom und Tina fühlt man sich direkt wohl. Es fehlt gar nichts. Und des Weiteren gibt es Kaffee und Tee gratis. Markenkaffee☕️ Jeder Raum ist mit Liebe gestaltet. Das absolute Highlight ist der Balkon. Großartig. Man schaut über einen kleinen sehr ruhigen Campingplatz direkt auf den Rhein und die Burg Rheinfels. Es durfte 1 Flasche Wein aus der lokalen Kellerei probiert werden Die Küche ist mehr als Top ausgestattet. Bäcker und Rewe sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Und auch die Fähre und Shuttel Station zur Loreley Freilichtbühne sind in 10 Minuten zu Fuß gut machbar. Wir geben für alles 10 von 10 Punkten.
